I will talk about of Martin Luther King and his day, he change the vision and relation with the different ethnicities, he was a great man of peace.
Martin luther king jr was born in Atlanta on January 15, 1929, he was a recognized pastor of an iron will to defend the rights for each human and change the injustice of segregation as for example the employment for ethnic minorities. He organized many events to make a difference by actions "punch" which causes important racial conflicts with many deaths, it is speech bearing and convincing gave force to the Americans to counter the various inequalities notably the speech where we find the famous phrase "i have a dream", these different fights will lead to success notably with the support of J Kennedy for racial segregation, these claims will be granted under Lyndon B. Johnson. All his life he will have participated in struggles against violence and inequalities. He had numerous recognition (price and medal) since 1986 have paid tribute to him by assigning him a day which is a holiday, in his memory, on January 15

Martin Luther King Jr. Day still falls on the third Monday in January . Martin Luther King Jr. Day highlights the life and actions of Martin Luther King. Martin Luther King was the leader of the African-American civil rights movement.
He participated in many important events in history, such as the rally for freedom in Georgia in 1962 but also on his arrival in Montgomery he fought for civil rights where people of black color were victims of physical and other ill-treatment and others .
For me the best moment was his longest speach '' i have a dream '' . Inspirated some black people and moving the world forward

Today, I'm talking about an important day : Women's day! Smile
I think it's one of the most important day nowadays. In 2020 this day was march 8, it's an international day highlighting the fight for the rights of women and in particular for the reduction of inequalities compared to men. Today, we women have rights that didn't exist a few years ago. If our rights could elvolve, it's thanks to many women who fought for these rights. Like Simone Veil , it's impossible to speak about women rights without thinking about her! It was thanks to her that abortion becam legal in 1975!

After the death of Martin Luther King Jr in 1968, Democrat Representative John Conyers introduced a bill in Congress to make Luther King's birthday a national holiday, highlighting the work of Martin Luther King alongside unions. The latter took up this proposal and promoted it in the 1970s.

In 1976 unions help in the election of Jimmy Carter, who supports the bill. But after this support, the influence of the unions in the campaign for the King holiday diminishes, and the King Center seeks the support of the business community and the general public. The success of this strategy grew when Stevie Wonder released his single Happy Birthday in 1980 to popularize the campaign and participated in the press conference of the Peace Rally in 1981. Six million signatures were collected in a petition addressed to Congress so that he votes the law.

President Ronald Reagan opposes this holiday, only bowing after Congress overwhelmingly voted the King Day Bill, preventing any presidential veto (338 votes to 90 in the House of Representatives and 78 against 22 in the Senate)
