Well Goku is out, piccolo too but he was absolutely not of the level since the beginning anyway. Now it's vegeta's turn. I think he's going for SS2 straight has the fight starts and almost kill Frost. The lava machine, the other sayen and the guy who's sleeping are still waiting. I'm pretty affraid of this last one. He looks like he doesn't give a fuck at all and that he's gonna kick everyone's ass. Well in my opinion the tournament will end with this pink fighter that Beerus called. Toryama has always liked those kind of characters that look dumb but they are much stonger than everyone else.

- Agreed another great episode. Vikings is one of my all time favourite series. The Bjorn fight was typical Bjorn and vikings excellence. Both the intelligence to plan the flail to the face and the strength and cunning to get the berserker into the position. Was he always interested in the wife? There is no way he doesn't end up killing the husband eventually - I'm not sure he knows who sent the berserker yet. Rollo mastering French is a surprise but not his ability to satisfy the awkward cow!
Need some action over there though and in England where clearly the "queen" of mercia is going to bewitch the King's son. I didn't understand how there were snakes awake in the middle of the winter in Scandinavia and even high on drugs swallowing a snake seems pretty wierd. The new Viking king appearance is great and Ragnar's reaction is typically him. These pretenders don't know what they're messing with do they? I thought for a while that Floki was going to take the place of the "seer" What do you reckon is going to happen with Floki?

This episode was a bit slow but whoooa ! To think that Franck was responsible for A accident is like crazy ! And we can be assured that he killed W's father ! To bad for W who won't have the chance to speak to him and to inheritate his monney ^^
That was kind of stupid of Franck to kill him in the street like that.
And you don't think Caleb is dead ? Well I clearly saw his body in a bath with a lots of blood, as if he comited suicide. The only thing i'm not sure of is, who's bath is that ? If it's A does that mean he comited suicide in her house or Bonnie and Franck killed him ?
I have a lot of questions bumpimg in my head right now:O ! I can't wait for the third season!!!

- Perhaps the slowest episode ever for Vikings but it still had a couple of interesting points. Bjorn is starting to come into his own and with Ragnar aging that's a good thing. He now knows who tried to have him killed and he is standing up to the new chief in town, who is supposed to be going to France with them. Ragnar has admitted that he's no longer the warlord he was and is now a philosopher, I'm sure he'd like to head off to China but can't see that happening. The other episode highlight was Lagartha - I knew she wouldn't let me down - there was no way she was going to be dictated to by a man. She is the ultimate woman for equality and she's trained up her shield warriors without the men even realising. As for France and England I really don't care about their stories despite the King of Wessex being a very good character. And could the French Emperor at last be showing that he has a wily wisdom after all?

- I too thought the episode was a bit slow. I enjoyed that wedding ! I realised that she was training some shield maid but I didn't expected it to turn out that way. When he asked her to marry him we could see in her eyes that she was not that pleased by the proposition. She is a true warrior !
As for Ragnar son it felt surprising to see him kill another boy, such violence isn't good for such a child !
I really dislike that new king we don't know anything about
And in France, have you noticed that incest relationship in court ?!

- Another great episode. Rollo destroys the viking attack and Ragnar calls him out for it whilst also risking his life to save Floki. Ragnar maybe falling into an addiction but he keeps astounding me. The King of England doing what he does best. Ragnar's wife doing what she does best What next for Floki? Is he back on the Ragnar bandwagon and will save him when those brothers turn against Ragnar? And what for Rollo? Will it be Bjorn who gets him in the end?

Have you tried the series "Grimm"? It's easy to watch and quite pleasant.

Breaking Bad you know about, Grey's anatomy you'll probably like but it's too girlie for me! Arrow - I found the first half of the first season too repetitive and quit but everyone tells me it gets great AFTER that! Bones I found repetitive, simple and boring though I did watch a couple of seasons better to watch the mentalist or that one with the writer/detective that Laure likes. Downton Abbey is a period drama - my wife's favourite series - I couldn't watch it. The Tudors seemed to be a historical sex romp - not my thing. Black Sail - I only watched a couple of episodes, it didn't grab me but I've heard it's quite good.
Another series that I found great was "Justified" - the characters were brilliant, probably my favourite series at the time (the last season finished a couple of years ago).
If you like detectives then "Happy Valley" is a gritty police drama with some good character acting - second season just finished - 6 episodes in each.
And Marco Polo was pretty good too.

Thanks for all thoose recomandations ! I'm gonna have to choose now >< And it won't help me study our final exams of next week... !
But anyway when I'll be in Briare I will have a lot of time at night to watch series so I'll pick one I watched the trailer of the 1st episode of Grimm and I liked it, so maybe I'll watch it. I'll let you know in the forum the one I picked

I watched Marco Polo and it was good ! I'm waiting for the second season which should start in june

I though Ragnar's idea was crazy but really interesting ! I can't wait to see if they are going to succed
I loved when Ragnar's wife understood she was nothing for that pseudo god, when her son showed her what the man has been doing the entire time !
And what an amazing end ! I believed at first that the King of Wessex was going to die, because the (ex) Queen of Mercia is crazy enough to do so ! Judith in the end becomes more and more an interresting character don't you think so ?

- OMG ! This episode too was unbelievable ! It was hard to see Octavia beating her brother the way she did, or how the red b***h manipulated Raven's body so that Abby took her pill... But It was a really good one, with a lot of interresting possibilities because Jasper succeeded in kidnapping Raven and the fact that Clarks is now with him. I was surprise that Jasper accepted Clarks as if nothing happened ! It shouldn't be that way because of the anger he has against her... I can't wait to see the next episode

- 38 episodes so far and they've almost all been excellent. Bjorn will never die. Surely he'll take over the series when Ragnar eventually dies. Ragnar dropping further into his drug addiction is bad but he still showed why he's the king, clever and sly, they'll take France again. It was really nice to see Floki immediately declare his obedience and then as always come up with an incredible engineering plan and Lagatha sticking by her man too. The "Pseudo God" is living everyman's dream and now he's been caught off he goes to another warriorless village. England did get interesting and Rollo got the iron hand - is that historically a French "verité"? His wife seems to love him at last. Good comeuppance for the French guy too.
Marco Polo was an excellent first series, I've been waiting for the second for a long time - I think it's due in June.
I've continued with Breaking Bad - now halfway through the third season. I like it but there are a few boring episodes - it's not the greatest series of all-time that some people make it out to be. I'm guessing the 3rd and 4th seasons are very good leaving people with that impression.

- Ragnar is looking like he's on his last legs but the season has developed the stories of his sons - particularly Bjorn and the 2 who have stayed at home - I hope next week isn't the final Ragnar episode but if it is Bjorn has positioned himself perfectly to take over. Floki has once again proven his skill and loyalty (?). The English king is showing his deviousness and the French king is gay - must be a true story! Normally there are only 10 episodes in a season but there seems to be a lot of stories that are far from over. Perhaps we'll only see the end of the Ragnar/Rollo stories and the rest will be open for the 5th season. What do you think is going to happen to Ragnar/Rollo next week?

I hope next episode won't be Ragnar's last, even if he is acting weirdly because he is a drug addict who killed his dealer haha ! But in that state, against Rhollo I think Ragnar may loose and it will be Bjorn who'll kill his uncle in revenge !

- Lagatha is great but she deliberately continued that heavy work even though she realised she was having complications. Her problem was that she believed the seer when he told her she'd never have another child, so had already given it up!
I've finished the 4 seasons of Breaking Bad - I enjoyed it but there were some boring episodes in there too. When you get to the "fly" episode just jump it - waste of 45 minutes of your life. Loved the Jesse Pinkman character.

- first the excellent news that there are 20 episodes in this season. What an episode this was! Rollo inspired the French to victory and Ragnar was dragged away from the battle - I'm sure he would have preferred to die there fighting Rollo. The French king shows some spine and has rolland and his "sister" killed and puts his faith in Rollo. It ended what? 10 years after the battle? Bjorn and Floki showing their loyalty and their plans to attack the Med. Floki actually smiling!! The other sons not showing so much loyalty. Lagatha not seen at all. The Queen looking smug. So what do you think will happen? Will someone kill Ragnar? I hope not - I can only see the boneless son having the bottle to kill him. I think maybe Ragnar will return to France, Bjorn will lead new conquests in the med, not sure who Floki will go with. I think some of the other sons will decide to raid England and maybe find out more about ragnar's son over there. I'm sure Lagatha will have survived too. Surely that other viking leader must re-appear - I'm surprised he didn't try to take Ragnar's place after Ragnar left, maybe he'll challenge Ragnar now - certainly seems to be something missing in that part of the story.

I believe that if Ragnar has to be killed by one of his sons Bjorn could do so, but it would be an awful moment ! It's really difficult to recognise Ragnar's sons beside from the boneless of course, and I had the impression that they had the same voice as other characters we saw in the series. It was disturbing that laps of time,but good to see that Floki is still alive ! I hope it's the same for Lagatha because she was hurt pretty badly !
By chance, did you hear anything about our Toeic ?

Hi Gaelle,
I've just got back from 10 very tiring days in England where I re-found my Leicester accent and now I'm preparing for a small operation at the end of the month before I have to go back to the uni to teach for 3 days in July.
I agree with you about the characters in BB especially Walter who it was easy to both hate and like. I think at the end I didn't like him so much but I really liked Jesse.
I miss Vikings too. I've tried 3 new series this week but I'm not over impressed with any of them. The tunnel is a French and English crime drama - it must be based on a series called the Bridge as the first episode was almost identical but based in the eurotunnel instead of the mexican/US border bridge. I'm also watching Billions with the homeland actor as the key character. I like him but the series is very financial so not the most gripping and I started to watch another series that I can't even remember the name of and won't watch anymore of it.
How's your internship going? Is it interesting? Any more thoughts about next year yet?
