Orange is the new black

I chose the series Orange is the new black because I want to see since a long time. This serie began in 2013. It's a american series, and is the brainchild of Jenji Kohan. It's available on Netflix. This series is based on an autobiographical book (Orange is the new black: My year in a Women's). From 2016, this series is diffused on the channel 23. For summary, it's the history of Piper Chapman that is imprisoned in a prison for 15 months. The offense had occurred 10 years prior to the start of the series and in that time Piper had moved on to a quiet, law-abiding life among New York's upper middle class. The lead actress is Taylor Schilling. Three additional seasons are going to be realized. 4 seasons are actually available. Why this title? Because Orange is the color of prisoner's uniforms in the American prisons. "is the new black" did a reference to the last trendy color. The new black became a snowclone. So, I can't wait to watch this series.

So, I watched the first episode. In this episode, we can understand why the heroine goes to jail.There are two stories in parallel. The first story is in the present and the other in the past: it's some flashbacks. Pipper Chapman has to go to prison for a 15-month sentence. She has a life with a boyfriend, Larry. There was a meal for her last night of freedom with her family. In flashbacks, we can see Pipper with her former girlfriend who is Alex. Alex is a criminal who asked her to carry a bag with money. Pipper meet prisonner as Red. She already hated by Red, the manager of the kitchen, saying that the food is not good. At the end of the episode, Pipper see Alex in the prison. I want to see more !!

I watched the second episode of Orange is the New Black. In this episode, we can understand why Red, a prisoner, goes to jail. We can see Red before his entrance to the prison. She had a restaurant with her husband. They are Russian. Chapman goes to a session of welcome where they explain various adfice for their security. Red doesn't always want to give eat to Chapman. Chapman tries to find a solution to eat. She remembers the detox that she had made with her husband, Lary. His friend come to visit her. In the room of the visits, she sees a distributor of food out of order. She is devastated. Red remembers being put aside by a group of women. These women were married has important people of the Russian mafia. Chapman remember of how came her vocation for its job with her sister. She sells her hair for shea butter. A prisonner Suzanne, nicknamed Crazy Eyes, gives her hot peppers. Her ex-girlfriend gives her a piece of cake, but Pipper casts it to the trash. In a memory of Red, she pushes one of the women of the Russian mafia. One of these mammary implants blow up. The woman asks her to pay off it: 60 000 dollars. The husband of Red concluded a deal with the mafia, and puts bodies in the refrigerator of their restaurant. In prison, Pipper finds a solution for the back of Red, it is a cream. Crazy Eyes gets closer more and more Chapman.
