TED: 4 reasons to learn a new language

John McWhorter wants people to learn a foreign language because:

1: A language is a code for native speakers. So if we want to get into a culture, we have to learn its language.
2: When we speak two languages, we can give lessons in another language to juniors. It shows our ability to be a multitasker.
3: Foreign language are funny to learn.
4: We can learn it when/where we want to thanks to technology, without being forced to listen to a BORING teacher today is the better era to learn !
