The presentation talks about the impact of sciences and technologie on basket-ball. It's make by a scientific named Rajiv Maheswaran, he works on software who analyse movments of players. He explains that his team program the software with basical data. Then, they develop data base to obatain all informations that a coach needs (pick & roll, isolation..).

With data base, they make a definition of a good or bad shoot and they calculate the probability of succes. The succes depends of differents factors like the angle, the position of defensive player or the distance.

Their software is used by all teams in NBA to analyse player's performance during a match.
