Out of detention, Kris returns to the equestrian center and learns with horror that Wildfire is to be sold at auction the same evening. After trying unsuccessfully to convince Jean and Pablo to buy the horse, the girl, accompanied by Matt, watches helplessly for the sale of his stallion.
