Peaky Blinders - Dang Alexandre

Season 1 episode 1 :

My series deal with a familial gang, which lead a district of the city, in Birmingham in 1919.
They are named Peaky blinders, because they hide razor blade on their caps.
bookmaker bet, not always legal, black market, and steal of everything is their daily life.
But their activity will know a turnover when Thomas Shelby, the brain of the gang, steal weapons
from the army in their local factory.
With this in his possession, he will deal with the policy and try to make them in his pocket to
continue his business without any problems

To my opinion, this episode was a little bit to long because the presentation of each person
and the presentation of his business was not very interesting at the begging.
But the carism of each person is amazing, especially for Thomas shelby, who is very intelligent and
try to learn his logic is funny same if it’s impossible because he is unforeseeable and never speak
about his business if it’s not needed.

Season 1 episode 2 :

While the Shelby family go to his horse raise for the business, the police try to find the
weapons « lost » in each housse. But the Peaky blinders control this area so they decide to burn
the portrait of the lord W. Churchill.
After that, Thomas Shelby ask for a deal with the policy : weapons against protection and free
black trade.
More over, Thomas will try to join a huge bookmaker for his business.
During this episode, the goal of the Shelby family is really clearly : to make money and work
in family. The story around the gun is very interesting because we know that Thomas got them, but
nothing more. And we have his point of views, so we don’t know if the police will be fair in their
deal.
His goal of powerful is also nice because we can show what he have to do and we can still imagine
the next step of his adventure.

Season 1 episode 3 :

Thomas have a sister : Ada. She is married with Freddie, but this one is an ennemi of the
policy, and he could create problems to Thomas with his deal. He have to find a solution.
But Freddie is not determined to leave Birmingham so the policy make a new point on their deal :
Thomas must give Freddie or they will arrest him and Ada. The Shelby’s family know a bad period
and need to take some decision.
During this time, Irish group of rebel try to convince Thomas to sell his weapons.
We can show the difficulty for Thomas to take a choice : business first but Ada is his sister
so he can’t leave her. He will try a lot of think and we would know how he will solve his problems.
The new market of weapons open Birmingham to the « world » and the prospect of grow.

Season 1 episode 4 :

Thomas decide to give a lot of time to Ada and Freddie. He would that they leave the city,
so he give an other personne, a comrade of Freddie. But this one, in torture, he give Freddie’s
adresse.
On the same time, a ward between the Peaky blinders and a gypsy group start. To end it, Thomas
marrie his brother with a gypsy girl : Esme.
A new personne appear : Grace, a spy for the police in charge to found the weapon. She will work
for Thomas to have some informations.
We can show that Thomas is really implicate in his business but his family is more
important.
Grace is a new personne so we don’t know how she is and we are very carful about her because
his goal is opposite to Thomas. So we hope that Thomas will not fall in the trap

Season 1 episode 5 :

Thomas start his business with Bill Kimber : a bookmaker in the horse-race. And he wants
always more, he would reverse This one to take all part of the market.
Grace learn where the weapons are but she decides to keep the secret for the moment.
The shelby’s father is back to Birmingham but Thomas refuse to meet him. But his brother : Arthur
would know him. But this one have bad intention and steal Arthur’s money.
This episode was a little bit less interesting than the otters because we don’t really learn
more about the Thomas’ business. We just watch a new personne who will disappear at the end.

Season 1 episode 6 :

Thomas decide to reverse Billy Kimber. He will plan all of his strategy. Freddie is arrested by the policy, and Thomas promise to Ada to deliver him. Grace give the emplacement of the weapons, and start a story with Thomas. But he will be disappointed when he will discover the real identity of Grace.
This is the last episode of the saison 1 and we know why. We learn everything and all problems are solved. The saison 2 promise an amazing story.

Season 2 episode 1 :

The business of bookmaker and alcohol smuggling is know totally control by the Peaky blinders. But it’s not to much for Thomas. So he will try to go in London where twice group are in war : the jew and the Italian. His plan, risked, is to join one of this group to reverse the other. But this will be more hard than envisaged. When they are away, their bar will be burn. A new story start. We would know the next goal of Thomas and how he will be improve his business. But we can show that it will be harder.

Season 2 episode 2 :

Thomas will be attacked by the Italian, they will give him an advice : surrender.
But he will not let this business and he will make a deal with the jew in London.
On the same time, he try to find the son of his aunt : Polly.
Arthur start to be unverifiable and the past (the war) go up in his spirit.
Thomas is determined, his own life is less important than the business.
Show Arthur like a beast is sad because he is important for the story and we hope that he is better.

Season 2 episode 3 :

The familial but ware rebuilt and open.
Thomas found the son of Polly : Michael. He will try to take his place on the Shelby’s business
same if his mother don’t agree with that.
The deal between the Peaky blinders and the jew start in London.
At this moment, the Shelby’s family success everything and their business start to be
strong. But we wait a new problems because it’s not normal, it’s too easy.
Their development in London grow and we are pressed to know the continuation.
