Hi,
I understand people who want to legalize cannabis and think that it could be positive for the economy. I believe that the legalization of cannabis isn't a good idea because it has too much negative aspects. Indeed, if we legalize cannabis, the consumption will increase and everybody knows what are the consequences of the regular consumption of cannabis (addiction).
On the other hand, it's seems logical to legalize cannabis when tabacco and alcohol are legal. Even if those products are different, their consequences for the human's health are disastrous.

Hello,

I do not think cannabis use should be legalized.
because the use of cannabis is a danger to our health and also lead to addiction.
So I do not understand how people can want that the use of this harmful product for their health should be legalized.

I have a really mixed position on cannabis.
In fact, I am more in favor of legalization, but when I hear people say that cannabis makes me crazy it shocks me.
No, cannabis does not make you mad! Cannabis can just highlight mental disorders such as skyzophrenia, but at no time does it create mental disorders. Cannabis destroy the brain? Yes yes like many things in fact, alcohol for example. You have to smoke 20 joints in 10 minutes to overdose! So its effect is still clearly to relativize. So I think it's really a bad example to say "Oh my god cannabis makes you crazy, after we cut everyone off, we go crazy." This is false, or very marginal.
I think legalizing cannabis would be a way to stop the underground economy, which is a real problem. Anyway cannabis is present and we can not do anything about it, it's a bit of a French tradition too, so how to live with it.
By cons I find completely ridiculous to say that it would be an asset for the sick. There are many medications that can reduce pain, and I do not think that for people who are really suffering from smoking cannabis, that really is the solution.

Hello.

I do not think that cannabis should be legalized. When it comes to talk about this topic I see always three arguments that always comes out. The legalization could help reduce the drug trafficking, cannabis should be use for medical purposes and the hypocrisy of the governments.

I don't think the legalization will help reduce the trafficking. If tommorow shops are allowed to sell cannabis the owner will have to add charges on the product. So the price will get higher than what you can find in he street. Wich will make the trafficking still relevant. Even worth it could make the trafficking more profitable. Let's imagine the price for a certain amount of weed is 50€ in a legal shop, the price for the same amount in the street, before the legalization, was 35€. What will retain the dealers to increase the price ? Nothing.

Then the medical use. It is dedicated to very specific profils reach by very specific diseases. So this argument, in my point of view could not be use for the leaglization to the whole population. If it's for heal patients it can't the argument can't be use for defend recreational consumption.

The fird argument now. Yes their is an hypocrisy about drug. But it's not because we allow something that killed people, cigarettes and alcohol, that we should allow a new way to create addiction.

Hello,
For me, I think the government should legalize cannabis cause there are too many people use cannabis, the gouvernement can not supervise well in most of countries. The cannabis is illegal now, but there are still many people use it. If the government legalize cannabis, at least the government can supervise the persons who use cannabis like cigarettes. In addition government can get more taxes as well.
