Serie Lucifer

I will do a little introduction and a little synopsis about this serie before that i talk about the episodes more precisely. So i gonna speak about Lucifer serie.
Lucifer is based on the caracter created by neil gaiman in the graphic novel.
The purpose of the show is that to Lucifer the angel was cast down from heaven and charged for being the master of hell. He’s tired with this job as the devil and decided to go on retirement and go to earth  He becomes the owner of the succesfull nightclub in los Angeles.
We will follow his story and his collaboration with the police to solve crimes.

episode 1 review : We see how Lucifer lives his new life in Miami. Lucifer has few devil power. For example, he speaks all languages , he can gets reveal his real identity to get people crazy, he can forced people to reveal their desir the more intimate and he’s immortal too…
He’s the owner of the succesfull nightclub called Lux. His « friend » or rather someone with whom he gets on well, get killed in front of his nightclub. He don’t understand why she get killed like that. So he gonna starts his investigation to solves this crime. During this investigation, he met Chloé Decker,the inspector. Lucifer try to seduce Chloé and decide to follow her to solve this crime together. Chloé intrigues Lucifer because his power don’t works with she. So it’s incomprehensible for him.
We do the meet of amenadielle, the brother of Lucifer and an angel sent by the sky, to convince him to return to manage the underworld but Lucifer refuse. Amenadielle threatens Lucifer.
At the end of the episode, Lucifer and Chloé are attacked and she falls unconscious.

Episode 2 review: After few hours after the first episode. Cloé was still unconscious and is bring to the hospital.
She learn that one the ennemi , a paparazzi, is suspected of murder. Lucifer and Chloé work together again to solve a homicide. It’s a movie star’s son who has killed and it’s the paparazzi who is suspected because he’s always the first on the scoops.
Chloé investigating with Lucifer to know how it’s possible that Lucifer it’s alive without any wounds after there attack.

Episode 4 review :
Amenadielle asks for help from Maze to convince Lucifer to return to hell. Maze is a demon who is come with Lucifer from the hell and his aims is to protect Lucifer. Lucifer asks Chloé to shoot him to prove that he is really a demon. But when he’s shot , lucifer bleeding shows thaht he’s no immortal...

Episode 5 review :
Lucifer convinces the big boss of the police of team up with Chloé, so they become officialy partenairs. Lucifer try to understand why he becomes mortal, so he do some hypothesis and test his immortality. To prove his hypothesis he realised few experiences. His result , when he is near to Chloé he is mortal.
When Lucifer needs to talk, he goes to see Doctor Martin a psychotherapist. He talk with her in exchange of sex of course. He will explain his « humain » problems that he don’t know and that he cannot manage.

criticism of Lucifer :
I like this serie for few reasons. Firstly the caracter of Lucifer.
He is very interisting because is the traditional character of lucifer the fallen angel but there are some interisting and new aspects about him. For example he doesn’t hide the fact that he’s the devil, he openly talks about it all the time but nobody believe them.. He’s fun , sarcastic , childish and makes sex jokes all the times.so i love it.

Lucifer asks many questions about himself.

He’s frustrated because he’s get blamed for all the evil in the world. He said : Why do they blame me for everything that’s wrong with them. Infact i like the fact that the devil think about himself.

The bigger criticism that i do for this serie is that they use a formula already view and reviewed. I explain.
Why does the plot of every show has to be this person has a quality or a thing and they help a detective to solve crime. For example of serie who use this formula , we have :blacklist, white colar,iZombie, numbers… And now it’s the devil and he helps the detective to solve crimes
To conclude, i think is a serie who has 50% cool concept and onother cool stuff , 50% of every other cop show you’ve ever seen.
