Group B S02W05 - Super powers

What do you want? what should be forbidden? and any other important questions that need answering.

The power i would really want to possess is the ability to have eternal life and be able to end it at the time i want to. There is so many things we can't do in only one life, so much things to see and learn. I guess i would end it when i would be bored of this world.
The power that should be ban, in my opinion there is at the very least 2 cause man they are way too broken.
First, the ability to get any power by wishes our stuff like that. HE HE nice try, but it's cheating dude.
Second, the ability to copy any other abilities basically the same reasons.

What a tough topic ... I'm not sure because lots of powers should be very cool, but I would be a telekinesist. The power to move everything, including myself, people and objects no matter the size or the weight, without hurting anything or anyone. Telekinesis makes you physically invulnerable because you could stop every danger, and you also could save lifes. It's a powerful power, but it's not about mass-destruction so it's okay I think.

Any power could be great in good hands. But in bad hands ... It could be very dangerous for our world (maybe more than nukes). In my opinion, a power should be forbidden if used in a bad way (willingly or not). And I agree with Matthieu: a power is only one power, not a way to get many others!

But, fortunately, we don't have any superpowers. We know how humans are... Power = who's the strongest ? = self-destruction of humanity and people

Hello beauties

The power I would get is healing poeple. I agree that the life has to come to an end but it is tragical when someone die because of a disease. And it is terrible to lose someone unexepectedly. Even if the people lives older thanks to medicine breakthrough, we still don"t know how to cure some of the diseases. That why I want a power to heal ill people.

Before I would say teleportation. But I don't want to be able to change where I am when I want. It seems really nice to go everywhere and whenever. For example, it is practical when there is an emergency to arrive somewhere and help someone. But with my travel experiences, I realized that the magic part of my trip are the journey by bus, train, plane... It could be boring but it is always  It is the fact that it is far and slow to go somewhere else that makes it incredible. You arrive at the airport in America after staying 10 years in a plane and you are happy to have done everything.
I don't know if you understood something ahah but for me it is unthinkable snap my fingers and be abroad.

What a strange subject this week !
On one hand, I think that I don't want power (like X-men powers) ; I like the idea that we are all simple "muggle" ! Yes, we are not immortal (if we had an eternal life, maybe we get bored....) and yes, have the power to move everything, including people and objects (like Darth Vader) is very cool... I agree the power of healing people would be a remarkable thing ! Lots of people pass away too early and other suffers from incurable diseases....

On this other hand, like Nolwenn said about teleportation, "the magic part of my trip are the journey by bus, train, plane", indeed, I think lots of incredible thinks in the life could be disappear. because of (useless?) powers...
And like Clement said, "power could be great in good hands...but in bad hands", we know that without power humans destroy life and nature...so with power, it could be very dangerous...

Hello guys, the super power is such an attracting thing that we all want get some unusual powers and do some extrordinary thing, but like Clement says, if a power is used in a bad way, whatever that is a usual power or a super power, it may take to us many troubles. 
But since our world is based on the fact where no one can use the super power, if there's someone who can use it, no matter in what way he uses it, it is always a challenge for the world. A rule breaker is not welcomed in everywhere, so personally I don't want that in the world, there's someone like that. But if the super power who can heal the wound, cure the diseases or help everyone to have an eternal life? The idea seems so cool but in reality it doesn't work. If you have this kind of power but you can not transport immediately around the world, there's to say you cannot cure all people in the world. The very small amount of people who are cured by you can be very happy but the others will hate you and die with the hope. And the eternality? You will be the NO,1 enemy of the social security in the world
The nature of the human being, is that when we are living in happiness, we want the thers like us also live in happiness. But the super power is not a way to realize it. The happiness is something we should get it after fighting for it instead of waiting a man whom has the super power and make your dream come true. So for me, I don't want any super power and I hope that in the world there's no super power exists.

It's pretty difficult to choose only one super power since we are so limited as only humains. I like the ideas to be able to heal people or to move stuff with the only the thought.

For me, one superpower I always wanted was to see the future. I know there are some psychics that claim thay can see the future and prevent accidents from happening and see their clients future.  And a lot of people would prefer not to have it, but I think it could be very useful to make decisions and avoid suffering. But to know the future pressuposes the ideia of destiny, where the future is defined and unchangeable. In my opinion, the future can change with each decision we make. So, maybe it would be a difficult super power to control.

In the other hand, one super power I think should never exist and probably be banned if it ever does is the capacity to manipulate people in doing things. One of the most important ordinary power we all have is the free will, and being enable to fulfill it would be unfair.

I always though about superpowers and what I could be if I was a super hero!! I think the best power I could get is teleportation! Imagine what you can do with this power! If I'm boring I can be in Bora Bora in five minutes and the day after I could go to Tokyo. Don't need to hurry up because you can move anywhere in a short time. Also, if I get a second superpower it would be stopping time and then I could do anything I would like (even stopping time when you have to learn your homeworks and you're in the rush ). With this superpower don't need money because you just have to pick the clothes up for free.
Don't need to dream I would never get this superpower, that's just my dreams and my imagination, but I won't say no if someone offers me one of them!!!

The superpower that i absolutly want is to learn something immediatly after read it or listen it.
With that superpower i will speak every language in the world, i will be able to speakk with all the people on the planet earth. I could continue to pass on the learning of dead language or local dialect who are speak just by a few group of person.
I also could learn to play all music instrument, i will be a whole orchestra by my own and become the next Mozart
This superpower let me become a doctor, an engineer, a designer, a hacker or a politician without make long studies.

I hope that one day i will wake up with this amazing superpower, but i'm not so optimistic

If I could choose one superpower, it will be mind control for sure !
With this superpower, I could do all the things I would like to do. Obviously I would do what I want of people, make them do anything I want for fun.
But yes, I agree with some of you, have superpower can be very dangerous for our society...

I really like this topic! Who never thought about possessing super abilities ? When I was younger, with my brothers and my sisters, we use to play a game in which every one of us was able to control one of the four main elements : earth, fire, air and water. It was a very nice game and I was always the one controlling the air because it included the power of flying, something I've always dreamed about!

But now that I'm older, the superpower I wish I could have is just the same as Andrea's: being able to control the time. Every morning when I hear the sound of my alarm, I wish about being able to stop the time to sleep as long as I need to and to wake up in the perfect mood! Of course, having that power would have to include an option allowing to not get older than the others when you stop the time. I also think it would be an amazing thing to have the possibility to go back in time to fix your mistakes, because a stupid mistake can have huge consequences.

I didn't have think about having a super power ... but I think I also would like to control the time in order to spend more time with friends and family, and because it's also a good way to have more time before the exam to be ready

Be invisible is the super power i disagree with.. it is a way for people to do infringements and interfere into people's life. In my opinion, this suer power is kind of great, but it could be very misused by people.
