This video was uploaded around the new year eve, and it show Ribery and Salt bae preparing a steak. Ribery is realy looking the tehcnical moves of Salt Bae (the worldwide known turkish guy Nusret Gokçe) and the one who cuts the meat really puts his heart into it. We can here some music and see the nice setup : a high class restaurant, sure enough. So i can tell that this video was made by one close friend of Ribery for New Year Eve.

It reminds me of this video Salt Bae did with David Beckham (2.3M views)
I think the original video of Ribery is this one, because it has the most views :

I agree with Admin, I don't have problem with this ridiculous braised meat. But why people want to "give a lesson" and tell to this other the way to spend the money ? I don't understand.... Audrey Pulvar can help homeless people for example ! She is well-paid !

I heard that is a good player (I can't juge) but a little bit "dim". Intellectually speaking is a little "poor" (at the origin ; for example, I heard him speaking french and it's not syntactically and grammatically correct) and his football studies doesn't "settle" the problem. I am convinced that become a famous people added to earn lot of money, is the way to become "crazy". You have all you want, so you want always more, more, more.....(like a spoiled rotten child).... It's actually ridiculous what this lady Pulvar did or is trying to do, i don't know if she really thinks she is allowed to dictate to other people how to spend their money, or she's just desperately trying to come up as a good or moral person for some reason or another.

I think this is not important. Because he uses his monney like He wants to be happy. And Audrey Pulvar can take care of the others if its make her happy. If he doesn't hurt someone it's ok.
In more, this emission is not really relevant in our live. You miss your time.

For example, when I watched secret story years ago my father told me that it was bad and that we had to turn off the TV, well he was right. Who cares about his steak or this kind of emission ?
I prefer to watch more cultivated emission : thalassa, arte, envoyé spécial, c dans l'air, échapée Belle,...but I don't know good emission on Food, and you ?

I think some people find it legit to do it because he is like a superstar, trying to share moments with his community. But people who discovered the thing watching some kind of TV program, that's when they got triggered by something.

I do not have a problem with that, actually I think people need to criticize the lives of others. We do not know what we would do if we had so much money but I think it's good that it benefits, especially since it did not ask anything at the base. I do not see how this would become a scandal because it is part of the private life of Ribery and not public money.

I don't understand why people are talking too much about this. A lot of famous people have already eaten the food made by this cooker, and they were not insulted ! It is because of the gold, but I have read that gold sheets for cooking is actually not very expensive. And yes as Wissam said the problem was the mistake of price also. But he can do whatever he wants with his money.
But the reaction of Audrey Pulvar is so stupid. The famous football players such as Ribéry win a lot of money, and it is good for their social image to give money to association, and he has already did it ! Last year, with his wife, he gave 150 000 euros for Syria Charity. Also, in 2012, f Audrey Pulvar bought glasses which costed 3000 euros. How can she tell him it's not the good way to spend money when she made this ?
I have also read something else about this : after being insulted a lot, Franck Ribéry reacted with insults too, and his football club gave him a fine because they refuse his language.
I don't have any opinion about Ribéry, I don't like him but I don't hate him, and I think he doesn't deserve all the insults and comments he had, just leave people do what they want to do in their life and with their money, while it's not something bad for others.

I totally agree with Justine, this controversial subject about Ribery eating an expensive steak is useless and stupid.

Ok there was an error on the price, and this shows also the fact that the medias are going very fast to publish their informations and that they forget to verify the actual facts. They published this because they knew it will make a "buzz", because Ribery has been the subject of various articles not really in the good opinion.
Besides the reaction of the french journalist is even more stupid, what she could benefit from this tweet ? Maybe some visibility......

Finally it's sad to see the important gave to this fact, how many medias talked about this whereas it's useless.

à mon avis, cette videoa fait le buzz sur les réseaux pour rien, il y a d'autres célébrités qui font plus avec leur argent mais en cachette sans faire du bruit sur les médias, en fin il est libre a dépenser ses propres argent de la manière qu'il veut , il y en a qui disent qu' il dépense beaucoup d'argent pour une cote de viande, mais peut être il aide d'autre personne pour une bonne cause mais ce n'est pas médiatiser. enfin chacun est libre dans sa propre vie tant qu'il ne touche pas l’intérêt publique.

A huge part of the french journalist preach about what to do and what to say. They believed that they have the monopoly of they way of thinking.
They charged ribery about his meat, but they do not even do 1% of what do ribery for the others.
Ribery is an easy target because he is a controversial celebrity, a lot of hayers love to speak about him and what he did wrong, but they never speak about the donation and the help he gaves

I agree with all of you I Don't know what I could add… I think some french journalist should change of job ahahahahah. There are such important or more interesting subjet than what Ribéry do with his money… that we really Don't care.
Also, we have to be careful when we read articles because all is not true. For example the majority of journalist said that the steack was 2000 euros but in fact it is 200.. We really can't trust journalist.
