Groups A and B Week 3 Discussion
So I leave it to you all to organise and post a thread for this week and....
Thanks to Babis and Emeline for starting threads last week and the 2 or 3 who replied. Any of you can open a new thread anytime about any subject and get a conversation going.
If no-one starts a thread this week then use this thread to talk about news events that caught your attention over the last few days.
Here's couple to get you started:
The world has gone crazy:
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-birmingham-47013978
Who is going to buy it?

Re: Groups A and B Week 3 Discussion
It's sad to see our world going worse and worse ... every news we see is about voilence, war , robbery . Even the 2 you posted John show how our world is going.
A huge crowd of people in Birmingham just to see a "famous" youtuber and no one who talks about the thousands of children, innocent people that are killed every day because of war .
If all that people reunited to fight agaist one of the thousands problems we have in that world , i'm sure their voice will be taken in consideration . But unfortunatly this is how it is ...
And then the theft of the Bankis tribute to Bataclan ... why should a person do it? i really want to know if he doesn't feel guilty because of that ..
I hope things will change in that world and people start realising that they need to be less selfish.

Re: Groups A and B Week 3 Discussion
Nowadays, unfortunately, we see that people become more and more trivial. They become easily influenced by any one who made a buzz in instagram or any other social media.
Like in the video that you posted Jhon, wee see how people react when they saw the famous youtuber. And like Iman said, when we turn to the serious problems in this world like wars or others we don't find any one who talks about this.
I think that seriously we should stop making stupid people famous, because they don't do nothing interesting for the humanity.

Hi John,
Concerning the first link, about the 8000 fans that sorounded the 'famous' youber, I would like to add a quote of Α.Einstein who said 'Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity! and I'm not sure about the universe'.
Concerning the second link, about the stolen painting of Banksy, Ι am worried because we can understand that there is no respect nowhere.
Banksy in one of my favourites steet artist because he critises the society through his work and their paintings sensitize people!
I would like also add an interesting article for the secret identity of banksy! There are some rumors who support that Banksy is Robert Del Naja, member of 'massive attack'.
Here is the article:
https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/news/banksy-robert-del-naja-massive-attack-art-who-is-he-identity-real-name-graffiti-music-similarities-a7805741.html
Here you can also see what happened when they tried to sell in a tender a painting of Banksy:
