Group D Week 4 Discussion Europe Empty Re: Group D Week 4 Discussion Europe

Post by Johan Mary Tue Jan 29, 2019 3:44 pm

Hello John,
I'm the first for this topic... i'm going to do good things Smile
As usual, i'm going to talk about sport and more precisely of football.
In Europe, there are many championships like Premier League, Ligue 1, Serie A, Liga BBVA and Bundesliga for these more famous.
Moods are diferentes follow the stadium, the town, country where you look a game.
I love the atmosphere in England, there is always many noise, the weather (rain, wind...) and stadiums are full of spectators (in PL like in the fourth division... it's very cool). And I love also in Spain, because it makes me think of street football...

Hello !
I'm going to talk about sport and especially gymnastic.
Gymnastics is developing more and more in Europe. However, there is a large majority of girls even though this sport is popular among boys.
Gymnastics in Europe does not have the same place as in the United States even if it is popularized because for example gymnastics is not professionalized in Europe while on the American continent though.
It surely depends on the culture at the base.
As a result, high-level gymnasts can not make a living from their sport, which is incomprehensible to me because some train 35 hours a week. This can be explained by the fact that a gymnastic career ends early and is too young to earn a salary.

Hello !
I'm going to talk about rugby.
Rugby is widespread in Europe. It is a sport that is professionalized.
However, the rubgy is not the same as before. Today, rugby is more violent because it is necessary to go "in the heap" whereas before it was a game of avoidance.
I find it a shame because there are more irreversible injuries and deaths.
Now it's more of a race to the one who will have the most important physique.
There are regular World Cups and the French are better than English in my opinion.

Hello John,
For this subject I will talk about the culture, the politic and sports in relation with Europe.
When I was young, with my college, I get the opportunity to go in Germany for one week, this was my first travel so far without my parents. I was in a host family and this allows me to discover an other culture, this is very different to France, childrens are very free to go away and this is thanks to a different school politic. In Germany young peaple didn't have classeroom the afternoon so they work at home or they practice many sport. So they become self-sufficient earlier.
There is a lot of European Cup in different sports today, they are not very publicized if we compared to a world cup but they are presents. For me the European cup, all sports combined, it allows for the teams or the athlete to train and to measure up to a high level first to go to a world championiship.

Hello,
I never went out of Europe, but I have already a bit travelled in. I went two times in Portugal, four in Italy, and once in the Netherlands. I really want to discover austrian and swiss alps. Visiting Ireland, England, and nordic countries like Norway would be really cool, I am very interesting by these countries. But my real dream, is to go ride my bikes, and ski in Canada and New-Zealand !

I had the chance to travel to Europe and to see the cultural diversity and the wonderful landscapes that each country has for us. Through my travels, such as Spain, Germany and Romania, I have seen for myself the huge gap in the economic and social spheres. Countries like Romania, surprised me the first time I went, since we are used to seeing and studying countries like Spain, Germany, England other times, which are countries rich with landscapes overgrown with great architectures and advanced technology.

While in Romania, the first time I went there, I was quickly surprised by the misery of the population, the poverty of the landscapes, the technological advance which is less. I had the impression I feel like going back 70 years before

So I was able to discover, the good sides of the European countries but not only.

Hello John !
I made five trips to Europe. I traveled twice in England, London and Bath. Then I traveled to Belgium, Switzerland, Italy and Spain.
My favorite trip was London. I really like England, especially the capital with all these buildings, the Big-Ben, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye…
Italy was a nice trip too, however it rained practically all week which was not the case in England, surprisingly. In Venice, with the Acqua Alta, we had to walk on tables and with the world that had, everyone was jostling, it was not practical. But Venice and Verona are still beautiful cities in Italy.

I did not like Switzerland very much, I do not love their behavior, their way of being. And then they don't support the French or those who are not rich.

And then they don't support the French or those who are not rich.

Post by Philomène Pagnoux Sun Feb 03, 2019 12:27 pm

Hello, today the topic is Europe.. So many things to say about Europe.. But today I want to speak about nations in Europe where I have ever been. In fact, Europe is formed by differents cultures, and differents populations. Me I have been many times in Finland because I have family in Helskinki, and we have a family house in the country. Education's culture is different in Finland because children are like kings.. In fact, for the good development of children, adults musn't rush them. What's more, in Finland, there is more place for environment. In fact, when people return bottles to shops, they earn a little bit money like 0,20 or 0,5 euro for a bottle. It is a good way to preserve environment.
Also, I can speak about Amsterdam. I didn't stay there during a long time, but it is so amazing the number of bike in the city. People only use bike! I think it is also a good way to limit pollution.
I think, Europe nations should speak about their way to develop themself, to protect environment, and about everything to allow everybody to have bests methods because, in France I don't think we are doing something for environment, and we have solutions in Europe!

Hello John.
For this week, the subject is the Europe.
In firts time, I want to speak about inequality enter countries at the level wealth. If you see Europe, you can noticed almost of rich countries are at west of continent, and they are almost the dounders of UE, coincidence, I don't think.
In second time at the level sport, we can see others countries just when it's european cup of football, not of rugby or handball, it's not fair.
In last time I just want say almost culture of Europe it's that of rich countries.

Hello John,
I'm going to talk about the politic and economic and about the sport.
In Europe, I think the Euro is a good thing because the countries can make exchange between them and make agreements which permit the development of the little country like Cyprus for example. Also I think this permit a good relationship between all of the countries for the agreement political.

To continue, the Europe have lot of event of sport like in football we have the "Euro" who permit to all the countries to demonstrate their power to other country in the sport. In the sport we have the continent with the most level in mosts sports like the football (England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain), the tennis ...

Post by Angeline Da Costa Mon Feb 04, 2019 5:09 pm

Hello,

Today I want to talk about travel in relation with culture. Just because I would like to be in holidays, and take some days off.
I really appreciate to discover other countries for the landscape, the history, the culture, the food, the monuments, the mentalities and a lot of other reasons. The problem is t'very expensive and even if I can go somewhere I never have the time to do it. All the summer holidays I usually have 1 or 2 weeks completly off. Sometimes I am lucky and I have the same week off with my family.

But I discover a lot of countries really speedy when I am in competition with the football. Like when I was in national selection I was going to England, to Roumania, ...
It's too short to discover all the culture and the particularity of the country.
A short story about me, I played last year in Holland during 6 months, so it was a wonderfull experience to now everything about it. They live so different than us. It's kind of an "open mind", and I like that.

I want to speak about the sport. Because in Europe they're the best teams in the world in diffferents sport. Like football, rugby, swimming... We have the best schools to learn how to become best in football, for example tactically we have the best school of the world with the england and belgium. And we have the best players of the world, and the best team : Man UTD, Man City, Paris St Germain, with Neymar, Mbappé....
And in europe we have also the best food, the best countries to visited... It's amazing

Hello John i’m going to talk about the Europe.
In Europe, i had the opportunity to visit Spain, Italia and England. I have seen that this continent owns beautiful and diverse landscapes. For exemple Madrid has an attractive architecture than London. I think that the power of this european countries is the history. After many conflicts it was necessary to agree. Each european country is stronger with the European Union.

I think that the sport is just one more way to understand. These events allow to strengthen the culture, the european economy led by european institutes like UEFA in Football or UCI in Cycling.

HI !!
I'm going to talk about Europe.
Europe is politically considered as a continent. It is made up of 49 countries, for instance France, Spanish, Italia... At the political level, the European Parliament is divided into 8 political groups, from the far left to the far right. The conservative right, composed in particular of the French Republican Party, is the most numerous, followed by the Social Democrats, where the Socialist Party is based. Then, at the culture level, Europe, like other regions of the world, is known for its important cultural heritage. Ancient and modern, cultural places are spread throughout the 28 Member States of the Union and constitute elements of the continent's cultural diversity. To finish, at the sport level, the continent is also characterized by its diversity. While some sports are played everywhere or in a large number of countries, such as football, basketball, tennis or athletics, others are more specific to certain countries or regions.

Hello !!!
I think that Europe is a very powerful continent through its culture, its politics and its environment.
I have not traveled to many countries in Europe. I only went to England, Spain, Switzerland and Germany.
The diversity of countries is still really impressive. It is not enough to travel far to discover a completely different environment. Germany is the destination that I liked the most. In Bavaria, where I went, the landscapes was just beautiful! I also loved their culture, the family in which I went very hospitable. They also pay a lot of attention to the environment. They respect a lot the sustainable development. I think that the mentality is not the same in France and on some points it is a shame!
