The legends of Tahiti

I suggest you read the following three links. These are three relatively short legends of Tahiti. That's why it has three links. (no stress haha)

First link « The coconut tree legend » : https://tahitinuitravel.com/destination/the-coconut-tree-legend/?portfolioCats=177

Second link « The tiare apetahi legend » : https://tahitinuitravel.com/destination/the-tiare-apetahi-legend/?portfolioCats=177

Picture of tiare apetahi :

Third link « Manuhere’s legend » : https://tahitinuitravel.com/destination/manuheres-legend/?portfolioCats=177

I also propose a link where you will find other legends. For the curious and legendary lovers.
Link : https://tahitinuitravel.com/destination/polynesia-a-land-of-legends/?portfolioCats=177

Legends are the basis of our culture, our ancestors and our history. That is why I chose this subject because it is important for me to know the heritage of our culture. I wish you a wonderful reading.

Vocabulary :

Hiro : He is God of fishing, sailors and thieves of mythology
Taboo : subject of which it is not mentioned
Raiatea and Tahaa : they are islands of french polynesia
Vahine : it’s a girl in tahitian
Fei Pi : the name of the war in Tahiti in 1815 between the chiefs
Manuhere : Manu it’s a bird in tahitian and here it’s a love. Manuhere means the bird of love.
