APP Paul Teillet

For the APP, this week I red two articles on BBC NEWS about climate change, I learnt the vocabulary to ask/give an opinion/agree/disagree, and I did again the first test about "the business of getting it".

For the APP of the week, I decided to improve my english by doing some exercices on the website : Duolingo.
I did exercices for expressions (3 lessons of level 1, 2 lessons of level 2 and 1 lesson of level 3).
Then i did exercices on the bases 2 (3 lessons for level 1, 2 lessons for level 2 and 3, and finally, 3 lessons for level 4).

I find this website really cool because you learn new vocabulary and the exercices are easy so you can improve your english by taking pleasure.
Then, you improve your skill because you have to write, to listen and to read in english so it helps a lot to memorize the vocabulary and the pronunciation.

For the APP of the week, I did again exercises on the website “duolingo”.
I did :
Base 1 :
Level 1/2/3 : lessons 1,2
Level 4 : lessons 1,2,3

Expressions :
Level 3 : lesson 1
Level 4 : lessons 1,2,3

Nourriture :
Level 1 and 2 : lessons 1,2,3
Level 3 : lessons 1,2,3,4

So at total : 23 lessons

For the APP of the week I work again on duolingo.
I did lessons about animals :
level 1 and 2 : two lessons
And level 3 and 4

Then, I worked on :
Pluriel :
Level 1 and 2 : two lessons
Level 3, 4 and 5

Food :
Level 4 : 3 lessons

And finally I did again lessons about base 2.

So this is 17 lessons.

As always I improve my english by doing some exercises on duolingo.
This week I did :
Base 1 lesson on level 5

Expression 1 lesson on level 5

Animaux level 4 lesson 1

Possessif level 1.2.3 lesson 1 and 2 and 1 lesson of level 4
I did again revision about possessif because I had some mistakes

Finally, I did 3 lessons of "pronoms objectifs" on level 1, 2 and 3.

And I did again the last video about exercise physiologist.

For this week, I did some lessons on Duolingo:
I did 1 lesson on base 1, nourriture, possesif, pronom obj.

Then, I did 7 lessons on "V. pres 1", also 7 of level 2 and 3.

And finally 1 lesson of level 4 (V. pres 1).

So this time I did 26 lessons.

I like a lot duolingo, the positive points are that the lessons are not too long so you can practice english whenever you want and you can do it for 5 minutes as well as for 30 minutes and do it the next day (the site keeps your progression)
Since the lessons are short, we can do several of them, with this site it's a pleasure to learn vocabulary, we unintentionally retain it.
I find this way to learn english playful and funny. Also, it’s a good thing that you have to translate english to french and conversely, then you have to listen, pick up some words and put them in order, and sometimes you have to speak or listen and translate it, we learn english in all possible ways.
I’ve learned some new words and I relearned easy vocabulary from middle school. Furthermore, my conjugation has also improved.

However, about the negative points, sometimes the exercises are too easy so it’s quite annoying. But it’s not a big problem, the site understand that you mastered this level it and put you on a next one.

I learnt how to use "whose", I did'nt know before these exercises.

Then 1 lesson of pluriel and animals.

So at total : 25

So for this week i did 64 lessons on duolingo, it was better than usually because it was more difficult, i learnt new vocabularies than can be useful.
For example i learnt : (waiter = serveur, waitress = serveuse, a cook = un cuisiner, a lawyer = un avocat, il est majeur = he is of age, l’automne = the fall/autumn)
The lessons are the following ones :
8 of conjonctions.
16 of prépositions.
8 of professions.
32 of dates

This week i completed the level 2 on duolingo (you have some levels with a lot of different lessons to do). So the next time i will start the next level.
I finished by doing lessons about vocabulary of family, 4 levels with each 3 lessons, so 12 at total.
