Hello everyone !
I didn't understand when I will lead the discussion but at least I know what we will talking about : black representation in fiction. I'm sure you've all heard about the future live action of the little mermaid and how the producers cast a black actress in the lead role. So we're going to discuss about the benefits or the risks (as you want) of this choice and also about other series that made similar decisions.

The topic I chose for my leading presentation is Fanfiction and its controversies ! I've been hesitating ever since between this and ASMR, as some of you may know. But I feel more comfortable leading on Fanfiction than on ASMR as questions come more easily to me on this topic.

I know the website is not pretty nor ergonomic but it's the only article I found that gives an overview of the different ways I will be approaching the subject. It's a long article, don't worry you don't have to read it all, just focus on the first page and on some of the authors that may interest you the most at least. There are big black arrows associated with the words "next" and "prev post" to allow you to shift between the 8 different authors' stand on Fanfiction.
