Week 4 - War/Terrorism

Post by Admin on Tue Oct 04, 2016 12:26 pm

War. What is it good for? How is it changing? Is a nuclear deterrent enough for France? Are you happy to pay taxes for war? Terrorism. What is it? One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. Should computer games glorify war? Whatever you want to say , say it here.

Hey I'm the first cheers  so, Terrorism didn't start like we think towards the end of twentieth century, it started for hundreds of years. Islamist terrorists do these things because by reading the Coran  they understood differently the meaning of some sentences like : "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, ...... until they submit and humble" , "Admonish those you fear infidelity, relegate them in rooms apart and beat them ". With these sentences, people decide to follow their god. Moreover, with the new type of society where we live will not change the problems of the rise of terrorism. I think that violence and force aren't the only solution. It must combine strength with education, learning some important things and don't disown Islam but help the youngest to better understand and interpret.   ........ I stop or I will write a novel Smile

War and terrorism

Post by Amandine Devoyon on Wed Oct 05, 2016 12:52 pm

Terrorism is unfortunately growing, and left thousands dead in France as in the united states and elsewhere. This significant rise in terrorism whose members say they fight for their god and for Islam. Major causes of amalgams and a rise in racism against the Muslim in France too important. And I think it's dangerous if we start doing that we could start to make the same errors as before, instead of trying to coprendre that all Muslims are not all terrorsist. Although it is difficult because they are sowing fear ..

Terrorism is a actual subject today expecially with all that happenned in france recently. Now, people live in the fear of a new terrorism attack. Those terrorist are islamist who interpret incorrectly the coran. By the way, everybody think that all musulman think like them but it's not true and we have to stop put everybody in the same basket.

The terrorism is a current subject and is more and more present in France. Everybody can be affected by this problem directly or indirectly, wherever, whenever. The terrorism is a war mode aiming at the civil and not at armed forces.I do not think whether it is the best way to solve a conflict.

Game of War is a good video game, but i prefer Fifa or an other... But, but, but it's not the subject today.
So, I think, like all the people in this class or same like all the STAPS students, the war is bad, all the people prefer a life with a big butterfly who fly and a big sky blue.
At the time, i don't want to come in Syrie or Liban...

In my life, I dream... Sleep a good world with peace
Good day to all !!! Very Happy

The War in Indochina is an armed conflict which took place from 1946 till 1954 in French Indochina. He ends in the dissolution of this federation, as well as in the exit of the French colonial Empire of countries making up her and in the division into two rival States of the Vietnamese territory. I think not evrybody will think like me . Of course terorisum and war are really bad things but For me , and it's just my point of view , I think that it's not the fault of terorists . I will explain why... The guys who kill inocent and do some terorim act are conditionning since they are babies and for them it's we who are the bad guys . In fact it's our fault we kill there familly, we steal there petrol and we put some dictaturs in there country ( when I say we , I speak about americans) well yes it's horrible what append in paris or nice but we do the same in there country

I think war is not a good thing because when there is the war, a lot of innocent persons lose their life while they don't asked anything and because the war cause huge economics problems for countries who are concerned by the war. We saw it with the two world wars that ravaged Germany, France...

I think the subject on the war and the terrorism is very complicated, because it is a subject current in which nobody found solution. But i think that there is really no solution. The war always has to exist and will exist unfortunately always

war is all the time present in our society. It is in the human definition, I don't know why... The war took different appearance during history, but the most recents are the most murderer. Thanks the technical "progress" ?? today with the atomic bomb the third world war is (I hope so) impossible. But there is war all over on the world, and this continues for war industries .

The war, the terrorism are recurring subjects in our society but it’s especially a difficult subject to treat. Difficult to treat also because we do not have all the information. Yes we know when a tragic accident takes place in France or in USA but when events takes place in other countries the information is little passed. The war the terrorism are very old subjects which sadly are difficult to lead to forget… In the day of today to find solutions remain something difficult even if in France the plan anti-terrorism set more and more of empleur to avoid other tragic events.

I think this subject about terrorism and war is very complicated but they are two bad things who exist since hundred years . I think the terrorism scared people particularly in France this year ...
Also I think the war games doesn't represent the real life during a war in a country

I find that the war is a thing which will never stop because there will be always people who will want to check the world. I think that the terrorism is a just one an excuse to be able to take advantage of the religion by creating wars, conflicts.

War is something that has practically always existed. Since the first civilizations wars take place for the territories. Still, it is very unfortunate that nowadays wars still take place after all the progress we have made and any attempts to bring peace to the world. Ideally it should no longer be any wars to live in peace.

Terrorism is the use or threat of violence, for a political purpose, against innocents. What makes these attacks dreadful and frightening. There is no universal definition of terrorism because we can't find a definition for something like that, too inhumane.  Now we must live with the fear of worse because nobody is safe.

The war and terrorism represents for me the human stupidity. It is te reflection of a lack of culture, and respect for others. Terrorism are certainly an educacional problem. It is often young people outcast of the society that do not feel integrate into our world. Peoples which declare the war, are peoples which want to be able to him, as the dictatorss. Peoples always fought for the religion, the territoris, the freedom... And nevertheless the war never settles anything.

The war is due to politic decisions whereas the terrorism is due to religious convictions. The terrorists often youngs are indoctrinated and manipulated by people who are themselves persuade of the legitimacy of those acts. For us, their behaviour seem incomprehensible and unacceptable however for them it's normal and necessary. What's more, we don't know if the terrorists are in their "normal condition" or if they are under the action of drugs at the time of action. It's worrying to know they can kill innocent people anywhere and anytime.
