80 000 forest fires have been mixed in Bre Sad sil since the beginning of the year, including the Amazon. Fires in the Amazon Forest have been ravaging hundreds of thousands of hectares, beyond the burned hectares, it's a whole ecosystem that goes up in smoke. Moreover, the Amazon forest isn't adapted to fire because it's always in a humid environment,  it's less resistant to fires. So there is a direct consequence on biodiversity.

Amazon forest have lost a big amount of her vegetation, due to several reason, like the cattle breeding, soya crop or to build infrastructures. If everybody in the world could stop or reduce his consumption of food containing exported soya or beef meat, the Amazon forest could be saved a bit more. Unfortunately the policy or multinational companies will always find a reason to deforest

The Amazon forest also known as "Amazonia" is a tropical forest located in South America. It is made up of 390 billion trees and 16,000 different species. But this great forest is unfortunately threatened by deforestation. For almost 50 years, more than 18% have disappeared because of this phenomenon of deforestation. That's why many parts of the Amazon rainforest are protected to preserve the ecosystem. We must fight against deforestation all together by stopping eating nutella !!!!!!!

Post by Romain BERTRAND Sun Sep 29, 2019 12:29 am

The Amazon Forest is located in the north of south America. This forest is the largest reservoir of biodiversity in the world and it contains thousands of species and billions of trees. Its massive number of trees gives it the nickname of « lung of the earth ».

But like all the important places of our planet, the forest is in danger because of the man. These main dangers are deforestation, soil depletion and forest fires. This is why the Amazonian forest is at the heart of a lot of economic, political and ecological debate. Many organizations are fighting for the preservation of this place.
Let's hope it's not too late.

Let's talk a bit about the Amazonian forest ....
In terms of numbers, the Amazonian forest is the largest tropical forest in the world. With an area of 5.5 million km² and crossing Brazil, Colombia Peru mainly, the Amazonian forest is best known for its biodiversity. It is crossed by the Amazon River, hence its name, a river with a length of 6400km. There are also large river cities that have settled around the river since the 19th century such as Manaus in Brazil.
Recently, the Amazonian forest has been much talked about, because of a major fire that has reacted to leaders around the world. In particular, French President Macron, who during the G7 in Biarritz, spoke with the world's leading leaders to take action and limit the disaster. The biggest measure was a large-scale financial plan to help the South American countries fight the fire and especially to help reforestation. It remains to be seen what this will give

The Amazon rainforest is one of the three most important primary forests in the world, located in South America, North of Brazil, considered as one of the lungs of the earth because it represents 16% of the planet’s oxygen.
The Amazon forest is the largest reservoir of biodiversity in the world. What makes her charming and her intriguing side. Hence his nickname "Amazon jungle". This immense territory is threatened by deforestation: about 18% of the forest has disappeared due to human activities, and also the deforestation. It is also used as a special training center to train soldiers, as for the jaguar internship where the foreign legion resides there for nine weeks because indeed this forest is very dangerous due to the predators which is there and unpredictable which allows a training worthy of the foreign legion.

Well, this week's topic is the Amazon Forest.

The largest forest in the world and the largest river in the world, the Amazon, this forest is also known as the lungs of the Earth.
Since a few hundred deforestation reaches the Amazon, in addition to touching the less civilized natives and animals that affects nature. And today the Amazon forest is burning and that for several weeks. Without anyone being able to stop it.
We can not therefore from where we are watching what is happening and hope that it stops one day before the forest is fully decimated.

« How could one live without lungs ? »
That is the question what everyone have to ask himself.
Indeed, since few years the principal problem is to product in mass so as to make some money in spite of the others consequences what that can has. Nonetheless during this time spaces like amazon forest are in danger.
But, this situation is alarming because amazon forest is the biggest tropical forest in the world and it catch 10 % of mondial carbon dioxide and she release oxygen is called a carbon well. However if it is destroyed then it will release whatever it has been able to capture and the process of photosynthesis will be limited. Moreover, if we destroy amazon forest then the biodiversity balance will be totally devastate and this lead to a massive extinction of some kind of species in the fauna and in the flora.
Furthermore, destroy amazon forest is destroy all the planet and this is the principal problem today

The Amazon Forest fire : it is a catastrophe for the planet, for global warming ... a huge tragedy.
The Amazon is the largest tropical forest in the world, it represents over half of the planet's remaining rainforests, most biodiverse tract of tropical forest in the world.
The Amazon is a vital carbon store that slows down the pace of global warming.
It is also home to about three million species of plants and animals, and one million indigenous people.
We must all mobilize for our planet, for our lives. It is time to react before it's too late.

The Amazon is a forest. She is beautiful (going look pictures), I would spend holidays there, but no campfire promised ! This forest isthe lung of the earth, the trees allow us to breathe ( I would not speak scientific words). There are about 390 billion trees in this forest, so thanks to the Amazon thanks to you we can breathe! so you have to preserve it's very important. There are more trees in the Amazon than humans in the world so you have to be careful, but do not forget all the other forest in the world, even the little forest ugly corner because without it we might be alive, so think before you throw the trash, before cutting trees.
The forests say thank you!

Although fire still ravage Amazon Forest which accelerate deforestation, we don’t really hear about it since the end of this summer, and I have some trouble to understand that lack of action... Indeed the Amazon Forest is the most biodiverse place on earth, and present a lung of earth role, hence the importance of that place.
It appears inconceivable for me that governments from local countries and even from Europe (where we only share it on Instagram saying that it is sooo sad with crying smileys) or United States and Canada (which are really close to the events) aren’t striving everything in their power. Furthermore the worst and most disappointing thing is probably that local governments see fire as a method of clearing, and support it, according to scientists from the Institute for Research and development (IRD).
Definitely we almost reached that environmental point of non-return, which could lead to disastrous consequences for local countries as Brazil, but also for the entire world… I am convinced that it might have some solutions uniting efforts of a few countries, even if at first sight it seems quite complicated.

For several weeks now, the Amazon forest has been ravaged by fires of unprecedented magnitude. Deforestation is clearly the cause of these fires. It's "not true" that the Amazon rainforest is "on fire," Jair Bolsonaro said live on Facebook. While France has sent air bombers and men to try to control this fire, the Brazilian president finds it more interesting to denigrate the French president and his etourage than to give importance to this ecological tragedy . In any case it is too late to reverse the damage is of unmeasurable importance.

Amazon forest is the largest forest of the world. They say it's the planet's green lung because thanks to these millions of trees it absorbe a large part of the CO2. Unfortunaleny, for many years the Amazon forest been in danger because of us humans, who are at the origin of the deforestation. Moreover, this last day, the Amazon forest is burning, it's not happy because it destroy biodiversity. Twisted Evil

the Amazon forest is a sumptuous forest with an important botanical development it welcomes many families of natives bringing a beautiful cultural power. When we talk about the Amazon, we immediately have in mind this long river that winds between a green tropical forest. More than 20,000,000 people share this territory, but despite this large number, we realize that people live mainly in small, sometimes isolated villages and in remote areas.

Brazil, which owns 60% of the surface of the Amazon rainforest, has been fighting huge fires for a few months. These forest fires in the Amazon, nicknamed "the lungs glass of the planet", worry enormously NGOs, politicians and Internet users.
For Jair Bolsonaro, President of Brazil, it is not the fault of the country. He accuses both NGOs and the drought of being at the origin of these fires. According to researchers, the damage of these fires could have repercussions for several decades. Trees are the first targets since it will take several decades to find vegetation similar to that gone in smoke. Sad

The Amazon that is called the lung of the planet suffers from deforestation. It is caused by agriculture, by livestock but it is also due to fires. All these causes generate consequences such as the drying up of the rivers that feed the amazon. All these causes lead to consequences such as the drying up of rivers that feed the Amazon, the disappearance of certain species, climate change at the local and global scale. It is important for all populations to reduce this deforestation.
