Homeland - TV series

I started to watch the first episode of the season 1 of this serie.

The first scene take place in Baghdad. Carrie Mathison is the CIA agent. She's in Baghdad to meet her contact (Ibrahim). She wants informations about the leader of Al - Queda, Abu Nazir. Her contact say that there is a "turned" terrorist. An American who work for this terrorist group.
Few months later, Al - Quaida's captive (8 years), Nicolas Brody (marine sergent) returns in USA as a hero but Carrie is suspicious because the "turned" terrorist can be him. She decided, with the support of Saul Berenson, his mentor at the CIA, to monitor. To carry out its mission, she installs cameras and microphones in the homes of Brody. Carrie watches the brody's house but he send any message.
In the same time, her collaborator learn that Carrie takes medication for his mood disorders.
Saul visit Carrie, he learn her unauthorized spying on the Brodys. He can't condone her actions without any evidences.
Thereafter, Carrie notices that Brody twitchs his hands, every time he's on camera. He tries to send some code trough the television to Al - Queda. After, she says this to Saul, and he's agree with she. He authorizes Carrie to continue the surveillance.

Hello friends ! I watched the second episode of this serie...

Carrie observes the actions of Brody thanks to cameras installed in his house and discover the restless intimacy of the former war prisoner. He makes nightmares and speak in Arab when he sleeps. For her, it is sure, the hero so praised by the media and the government hides a dark secret. At the same time, an informant of Carrie, who belongs to the harem of the Saudi prince Farid Bin Abbud, thinks that the prince has contact with the terrorist Abu Nazir. One evening, Brody locks himself only into its garage where no camera was installed, to pray according to the Muslim tradition. He was converted during his captivity and nobody know that. At the end of this episode, Brody accept to speak to the media About his captivity while he refused.

I've watched all the series of Homeland so far. My wife watched the first two (I think) before she got bored. I enjoyed the first very much. Brody is great, Carrie can drive you crazy.

In the third episode, Lynn has the opportunity to download intel from his cell phone using the disk Carrie gave her. The prince gives Lynn a mega-expensive diamond necklace. Brody and his family are preparing for a televised interview. Carrie wants to know how the Prince will finance the attack that will take place, she takes the disk which contains the phone informations of the prince but there is nothing about the attack. Moreover, Lynn is killed by the Prince and her diamond necklace is missing. Saul suposed that the attack will be financing with the jewelry. In the last scene, we can see that the majordome of the Prince negociates the sale of the necklace.

In the fourth episod, Carrie continu to monitor Brody's house. In the same time, Brody become a public icon with his interventions on the tv and next to the army. The autorization of monitoring expires soon. Brody informed Mike that He knows what Mike happends with his wife.
The CIA agents research the people who canbuy the necklace of Lynn to finance the futur attempts in USA.
Brody kills a deer which is in his garden when there is a party at home. This event shocked everybody. Jessica propose to Brody to see a psy, or else she will divorce. Thus, Brody particips at the groupings of veterans. Carrie follows him et she said that she often partícipates too. There is a rapprochement between them.

In the fifth episod, Afsal hamid is captured by the American army. He is part of the Abu Nazir group. Thus,He is suspected to know the plans of Abu Nazir. Brody must to participate at the questioning of this man with Carrie. During this interrogation, Afsal Hami gives a mail a dress to the CIA, in exchange, He wants the security of his family. From this mail, the CIA suspects a man who named Faisal. THe CIA follow his house but there is nobody at home, someone warmed him.
Brody has the opportunity to see, Afsal hamid, his torturer. The same day, Afsal Hamid kills himself with a blade. Carrie suspects Brody, according Carrie it's Brody who gives the blade and it's also the person who warme Faisal.

In the episode 6 :

The agents (Brody too) go through the lie detector to know if one of them give the blade to Afsal Hamid. In the same time, Faisal fled to another city with his "white" companion (Aileen). We learn that she entrain Faisal at this problem. Brody and Carrie drink together, and when she drunks, she say at Brody why he must go through the lie detector. Brody pass the lie detector without lies.

In the episode 7 :
Aileen fled to Mexico after a shooting which killed Faisal. Saul must to bring Aileen to USA.
Brody and Carrie come close, they go to the Carrie's chalet. Here, Carrie ask to Brody how it can be lie with the lie detector.
Aileen identify the "turned" terrorist, the espion is not Brody but it's Tom walker, the weapon companion of Brody, think dead during his hostage. Brody learns that Carrie monitored his house. And, he confess that he is converted to the Islam.

In the 8th episod : the CIA is sure that Walker is alive and they research him.

In the episod 9 :

Brody is kidnapped by Abu Nazir. He has flash back and we learn that Brody teached English at Abu Nazir's son (Issa) and Brody loves him. In the same time, the CIA continue to research Walker.
Issa died in an air attack of USA and cause of this event, Abu Nazir decides to plan a terrorist attack in the USA. And we learn that Brody is involve too.

In the 10th episod :

A Saudi diplomatic man, Al Zahrani is suspected to help Walker and Abu Nazir in USA. It serves as a bait to attract Walker but he explodes a bomb at the place of the appointment and Carrie is injured.
The vice president of the USA propose to Brody to became deputy, and Brody accept this proposition...
