One match lost, ten won.

Hello, I play in a basketball team in La Couronne. We are currently in women national 2. It's a great level but i'ts hard this year to us because two good players left the team last year. That's why we don't do good results this year. This weekend, we played against Mont de Marsan. At the beginning, the score was tight and we played collective on the first half. But, gradually, opponents have widened the gap. Finally, we lost to 5 points and we were disappointed because it was an important match and we were determined. The match was played at home, in front of our public who support us a lot. We hope to be more successful next weekend.

Beneficent Victory

This weekend,
After a long loosing streak, we managed to raise the head againts JSA Bordeaux.
The match was tight all the time and we kept our lucidity to catch victory. We stayed calm and welded face this great team and arbitration which wasn't to our advantage. We had great skill but also a lot of loose ball, however, our defense was developed to prevent the shooting of opponents and retrieve the balls to play counter attacks. The match was played to free throws in the final seconds, which allowed us to take four points advance.
Finally, we win the game to 4 points with a score of 70-66. A well deserved victory that's good for morale.

A weekend of rest.

This weekend we haven't played because it was the France's section weekend and that we aren't recorded. That's why, in order to enhance women's sports, our club has organized a women all star game. The first part of the afternoon, shoot and ball handling competitions were set up for young people and a second part, the same competition were organized for senior. Finally, we mixed the teams present at the tournament to play a friendly match. To thank all the players and the supervisors for participating, we made a award's presentation. Furthermore, snacks were offered to everyone to end the evening. It was a great day !

The title is an expression. We won 4 games in the season and lost all the rest. But we lost nine games in a row and the game against JSA Bordeaux is a long-awaited victory and is good for morale.

A new start

One more victory for us. Finally, we raise our heads to win a second successive victory against the Nantes training center. It was a team that runs a lot because the players are young, so it was difficult to keep the entire game to a high intensity but we still managed to grab the victory of about 20 points. Physically we took a lot of bang because they were very aggressive and sometimes dangerous. But the main is victory and is present so we are happy.

So you're on a winning streak. How long will it last?
When you say the other team were young, I guess that means that your team has some older players. How old is the oldest in your team?

No Elliot, for me, personal statistics aren't important, it's the result of the team is paramount. Knowing keep calm when the temperature rises in the room is a major quality in a player.

Saturday, February 7, we played against the first team in the ranking. It was a very difficult game, and our team wasn't complete. We have an injured player and I who haven't played because I had caught a disease. So they played at 7. They hung the score for the first 3 quarters time, but in the last quarter time they were tired and failed to keep. Finally we lose 40 points, a defeat that puts us in doubt.

Last weekend,
We didn't play because it was the France of cutting weekend where we are not recorded. This allowed us to rest, and leave for a good week of training.
