24 (TV Series)

I have decided to talk about the season 8 of the series 24. This season talk about the day 8 of Jack Bauer’s adventures. The season begin at 4:00 P.M. and finish at the same hour the next day. The events take place 18 months after the event of the season 7 in New York.
During the day, Jack Bauer is decided to move to Los Angeles with his daughter and his granddaughter. But he is informed that a terrorist attack gets ready against Omar Hassan, the president of Kamistan, a country of the Middle East. Omar Hassan having come to New York to sign a peace agreement with the United States. Consequently, Jack Bauer decide to help the antiterrorist unit in New York to save the agreement.

S8E01

The following takes place between 4:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M.

At the beginning of the episode the US president, Allyson Taylor and the Kamistan president, Omar Hassan begin the negotiations about the agreement concerning the nuclear dismantling of Kamistan under the aegis of the ONU. In the meantime, an old informant of Jack Bauer, Victor Aruz, finds him in his apartment to indicate him that somebody tries to kill the president Hassan to prevent the signing of the agreement. Jack gets in touch with the antiterrorist unit of New York, where works one of his old colleagues, Chloé O’Brian to deliver them his contact. The unit sends a helicopter to get back Aruz and Jack on the roof of a nearby building. When Jack and Aruz arrive at the roof of the building after have been attacked during the route and that Aruz is settled in the helicopter, a rocket fired by a nearby building blown up the helicopter and kills Aruz. The only information given by Aruz to jack Bauer before die is that an accomplice of the terrorist is a close friend of the president Hassan. In the meantime, the Omar Hassan’s brother, Farahd Hassan is suspicious doubtful that the relation which has her brother with an American journalist, Mrs Read.

S8E02

The following takes place between 5:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M.

At the beginning of the episode, president Taylor is informed about the terrorist threat which presses on president Hassan. The journalist Meredith Read is then arrested because she is suspected to be the mole in the circle of acquaintances of Hassan and to be a member of the terrorist organization which threatens it. Chloé O' Brian thinks that the terrorists trapped Mrs Read and whom the mole is always within the delegation of Hassan. Farahd Hassan calls a man who asks him to tell to his brother to deny his relation with the journalist so that the antiterrorist unit believes that it is his contact in the circle of acquaintances of Hassan. Dana Walsh, one member of the anti-terrosriste unit is contacted by one of her ex-boyfriends Kevin, who threatens it to reveal things on her past. Jack Bauer notify Brian Hastings, leader of the antiterrorist unit of what Chloé O' Brian told to him by showing the images of a man who enters and who goes out of Meredith Read. Jack Bauer decides not to follow any more his family in Los Angeles and to help Chloé O' Brian to find the real mole within the delegation of Hassan by following the track of the man who entered at Meredith Read's house. Brian Hastings questions Mrs Read in the antiterrorist uni). She tell him that she met Hassan during a conference and that she simply realized 2 interviews with him. Hastings realizes that she lies. By viewing the images of drones, Bauer finds the track of the man which has to penetrate to Mrs Read and decide to track him.

S8E03

The following takes place between 6:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M.

At the beginning of the episode, we see the man whom look for J. Bauer to kill a policeman and his wife in their house. J. Bauer is in pursuit of the suspect and finds both people died inside the house. Two policemen enter the house because they were warned by the neighbours that blows of fires had been pulled. They find Jack there and neutralize it by thinking that he killed the policeman and his wife. Kevin, the ex-boyfriend of Dana Walsh comes to find her in the antiterrorist unit. He threatens it to reveal the fact that she changed identity. She gives him the keys of her apartment for night and asks him to leave from the next day. Meredith Read admits that she has a relation with president Hassan. Chloé O' Brian asks to Brian Hastings to send reinforcements to look for jack Bauer but he refuses if the president Hassan did not validate the version of the journalist. Farahd Hassan asks for more to his brother to deny the fact that he has a relation with Meredith Read. President Hassan admits to Brian Hastings that he has a relation with the journalist. However, Hastings refuses to send reinforcements to get back Jack Bauer which is being beaten up by the policemen which found him. Farahd is in touch with the suspect of Jack. This one confirms him that his brother will have died before the end an hour. The antiterrorist unit deciphered a file found in Meredith Read's telephone. This file was placed by the man whom suspects Jack Bauer. The antiterrorist unit discovers that the file contains a plan the purpose of which is to blow up the board room of ONU. Brian Hastings thus decides to make evacuate United Nations, president Hassan and president Taylor are evacuated. Farahd Hassan warns the suspect of Bauer whom the car of the president Hassan left the ONU. Bauer, who managed to release itself demand for Cole Hortiz, member of the antiterrorist unit, to stop immediately the car of Hassan by telling him that all this is a trap to make the president of the UNO go out. Cole managed to stop the vehicle of Hassan before that a bomb to kill him explodes in the street.
