Re: Week 4 Travel
Do you prefer to travel alone, with family, with friends, or with your boy/girlfriend/wife ?
and what did you already did ?
I travel almost every holiday with two friends of mine. And it's so cool, we have a lot of fun going abroad.

Hi!
I love travelling. I travelled with my friends, with my family too. I travelled in Marocco, Italy, the United States, Guadeloupe, Canada, Turkey, Greece, Spain, Portugal...
I went in holiday camp, so I saw a lot of countries. It was amazing.
To travel is to discover various cultures, different landscape. That allows to open to the world.
At Montréal, it was very cold (-40°) and I have never seen that somewhere else and I did extraordinary activities.
The best city is New York, 2 years ago. It's like a huge amusement park!! I would like to visit London.

Hello everybody,
I love very much travels, I inherited this passion from my parents because it's my parents who took me on holliday. Thanks to them, I have make the tour of United Kingdom, Italy, the east European and all of this with camper. Next, i also visited Norway, Tunisia, Spain, Portugal. Since that, I travel very alone because It makes me the good, it disconnects me from the world, it make for me discover new worlds.

Re: Week 4 Travel
Safety everybody,
Personally I belonged in England more exactly to Portsmouth. I stayed in the city 1 week when I was welcomed in a very cheerful family. The negative point it was that as for leaves, it was not necessarily very good. I always remember this soup which he had made me, for which I have never known what they put in the inside, or still of this bread to the disconcerting taste. But much to my surprise I appreciated a thing, that is their pudding.
For this week I left to London for a day or I globally made the tour of the city all day long by bus.
Of affected one dress rehearsal I keep of it very good memory and laughter, in particular when the family sang me « vous les-vous coucher avec moi ce soir » " and I think that the family did not know what it said.
My second journey was when I went in Poland with my high school. We stayed there a little more than a week. During the journey I was also accommodated in a very nice family. In that case the food was globally correct except morning. In the morning I had to become used to eat vegetables and red meat what does not have was hollowing out 2 first one days.
In Poland I thus visited several cities as Katowice and Cracow (where I was to accommodate). Yes because Polish is very. Special. But I also visited the camp of Auschwitz and Birkenau where we go(surrender) against the human stupidity(stupid thing). As said Albert Einstein, " There are only two infinite things, the universe and the human stupidity(stupid thing) ".
During this journey, I was also in a city cut between Poland and Czech republic (or Slovakia, I have a doubt).
I would have some more of thing told on these two journeys but his(her, its) would be far too long.

Re: Week 4 Travel
Personally, travelling is essential and I’ll explain why? Generally people are scared about what is not familiar to them, what is unknown based on prejudgements and stereotypes they think they know everything about everybody. Travel has namely this ability to break these barriers down; it leads to an increase of the awareness. We consider that we are not alone, we are less self-centered. It tends also to open minds and reduce our ignorance. We come to know that our small problems are nothing compared to what people in other countries experience.
Moreover, we don’t have any excuses by saying it’s too expensive. Indeed, it’s getting easier, cheaper, more affordable for people with low incomes to travel and explore the world. In fact, a lot of start-ups and settled companies are bribing their prices (Ryanair, Tuifly, Easyjet, Flixbus, Ouibus, Ouigo…). To illustrate, for only 10€ you can fly from Bordeaux to Roma. The evolution in the transportation leads to smaller the world. In our days, just in a couple of hours you can be on the other side of the world.
In addition, we distinguish a new form of tourism thanks to the new applications such as AirBnb, Couchsurfing, Blablacar... Indeed, these applications opened the path to the tourism turned more to the social. Besides your travelling adventure, you can spend a moment with the locals, share a part of your life and them a part of theirs, this enriches your knowledge and all this for a lower cost than a hotel. The benefits of these applications are just outstanding.
I also wanted to discuss about the Erasmus topic. This program is definitely an extraordinary idea. The opportunity to go and discover the educational system from another perspective is worth it. Not only you travel but you are fully immersed in a new culture.
I wanted to bring up this topic because I already experienced this adventure last year and once again I’ll have the opportunity next semester. Throughout this experience, you learn that even though people don’t share the same cultural background they share this will to change the world and be an actor for the future of this world, to make it better. This is particularly warming. I advise everybody to take the opportunity to travel and enjoy a program like ERASMUS. We always return richer from such experience.

Hi!
Your feedback are very rewarding. Ali, i'm completely agree with you.
Personnally, i traveled only with school: in Scotland, Italy and ... that's all :/ I traveled also in Spain with my parents. I really want to go to Greece, Australia and also an Asian country because their culture attracts me and intrigues me.
Has anyone ever been to an Asian country?

Hi !
Personally, I love travelling. This is an opportunity for discover new cultures, new people and new landscapes. I have already been in Italy, Germany, United Kingdom, Slovakia and Spain !
Today, I would like to visit the Taj Mahal in India or Prague in Czech Republic !
I would like to do a humanitarian mission too. I want to go in Thailande, in a natural reserve with elephants. That's an important project for me because I think, a travel could be an occasion to live a really good experience and help the other. For me, the fact to live with people, with their habits, it's better to discover a country, than only visit alone.

Re: Week 4 Travel
Hi!
I've never really travel outside France except two time in Spain, the first one was in a summer camp, i don't remember the city because we were in a little holiday camp and i was 12 yo. The second time was this summer with my two best friends, we started our first road trip from Royan to Barcelona, with a step of 2 days in San Sebastian and an other one in Saragoss to finish 5 days in Barcelona. That was really cool, we slept in lots of different campings, we visited good places and discovered lots of people. When we cameback, we went through Andorre and we buy lots of alcohol for nothing (a Poliakov magnum 1.5liter cost only 6€ in Andorre <<< 23€ in France) we were lucky this day because we thought that the alcohol quota was 10liter per capita ( that was just for Spain border, not for Andorre!), in reality we were only allowed for 1.5liter, but the customs officiers didn't stop us, then we cross the border with 30 liter of alcohol for a value of 500€ which cost us only 150€ (plus they didn't see the dead body in the trunk of the car)
Let's comeback to the subject, i've never really travel outside France but there is lot's of greats places in France ( Royan ), my parents brought me many times camped in Massif Central or in Pyrénées, i love natural landscape like montains, rivers, forests or waterfalls. French people can be really friendly contrary to what people may think. Get back to basics can be really good nowadays, the massiv tourism isn't really my cup of tea... there is too much tourist trap. In my opinion, to enjoy a travel, we have to avoid touristic place and try to discover culture by other way, like meet residents or real cultural places.
Btw, eat typical dishes is a good way to travel a little bit without mooving
close your eyes and eat macdonald to go in America or Rosbeef to go in England

Hi Mathilde !
I went to Shanghaï this September for 4 days ahah, it was a bad experience for me ahah, I had to stay there for 5 months ...
Once arrived at the place, the staff at the airport was very strict, they didn't speak in english so the communication with them was so difficult.
Also, the taxi drivers didn't know how to speak in english so imagine the situation
Unfortunately it wasn't China that I imagined in my dreams . The peoples there are a quiet selfish, they constantly push to arrive first in the subway and take a seat without thinking of the elderly, it was so strange to see this situation.
I went to the city center twice, but I couldn't see the skyscrapers because of the pollution, and because of that (the pollution) I got immediately sick for like 2 weeks ahah.
If you plan to go to China, pay attention to food, it's not like in movies or Chinese restaurant here, and never drink tap water ..
I plan to go back to China maybe in few years but just for holidays this time aha
Here's a picture of skyscrapers but because of the pollution you can see just the quarter ahah

Re: Week 4 Travel
First of all, i love traveling like everyone else I think, right?
Who don't like to travel ?
I traveled a lot in Europe, especially in school trips but also with my football team because I did it for 12 years.
Indeed, I have visited countries such as Germany, Switzerland, which I have part of my family, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Belgium ...
This allowed me to discover new cultures, traditions, lifestyle, gastronomy ... it has contributed to a real personal enrichment.
I would like to speak to you exactly about a city that I love it, Barcelona. The rhythm of life is top, we party there all the time, we eat late, we lie down late... There are magnificent tourist places within the city for Sagrada Familia, La Rambla, Casa Millà, Parc Guell, Montserrat... and of course Camp Nou for all football lovers.
Spain is the country which I prefer, particularly Andalusia. I went there 3 times, with landscapes and sites wonderful as Alhambra, Alcazar of Séville, Plaza of Spain but also traditions like flamenco, Andalusian gastronomy with wine so short I love.
In the near future I would like to go to Morocco where my uncle lives in Ouarzazate, my grandparents went down for 2 months, and sent me a postcard, it looks beautiful, incredible !!!
Otherwise I would like to discover the island of Reunion, for a long time I dream ... with its famous volcano "Piton of the furnace" but also its pardisiac beaches.
If one of you went to Morocco or to Reunion Island, let me dream !!!!

I think modern life is impossible without travelling. As for me, I prefer travelling by car. I think it is very convenient. You needn't reserve your tickets, you needn't carry heavy suitcases and you can stop wherever you wish and spend at any place as much time as you like.(but I think it is more convenient to use your car inside the country, because it takes days to go to another ). A like travelling a lot, I prefer travelling with my friends(we pass very good time together). I have travelled to Austria, United Arabic Emirates, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and now I am trying to discover France

For me, traveling by plane is one of the best way to travel (of course for those who don't have air sickness) because the view of the the plane is so spectacular and in addition it's very comfortable (but for that you have to be in business class lol )

Hi everybody so let's talk about travels . Like many people , I love travelling of course. Traveling allows us to discover new cultures , to open our mind and to get out of our comfort zone. My last trip was in Spain this summer , what a beautiful country , in fact I loved everything about this country : the spanish way of life , the atmosphère , the good mood, etc.. . Moreover , I often go to Algeria my homeland , for me it's very important to recharge my batteries next to my family . I have also traveled to other countries such as : Portugal , Belgium , Tunisia . As you can guess guys , my favorite countries are the southern ones . I wish to explore all the countries of the mediterranean coast one day .

Hi !
I have travelled in UK, Italy and Greece...three differents countries three differents cultures …
When i was in Italy, there was sunshine, i went to the beach, it was cool !
When i was in Greece, there was sunshine, i went to the beach, it was cool !
When i was in UK it was cool !
During a travel i don’t like to go to the adventure, i like to keep all my confort ! So a travel with a backpack it’s not for me. When i travel i’m in vacation so it also to be relax ! I always prefered sea than mountain.
For me, one of the best part of the world is in France….it’s Corsica ! I went twice to the south Corsica, in two wonderfull small cities : Bonifacio and Porto Vecchio . Great gastronomy, greats views, clear water…you can swim with little fishes, do scuba diving... it’s the paradise... !
And If you like to watch great football match when you travelled i can advise you Marseille…what a great team who resists against the petrodollar’s team this week end !
To conclude, sometimes when i am listenning to music , i like close my eyes and remember one of my travel, remember smells, views …
Have a good night !

Hi !
The best way to travel, it's with family or friends. it's two very different things because with family, you visit several monuments or museums the day but with friends, you go out at night and sleep the day. I think a lot of people prefer the second option... it's true?

Hey guys!
Travel,travel,travel... I think a lot of things about this topic. Travel is not necessary leave far from where we live. We can discover beautiful view just next to us. We just must to open your mind and your eyes . It's a philosophical point of view. The life, it's a travel.
No, by the way it's joke. Seriously, I have travelled in Spain and England. Two years ago during the summer, I went to England alone, just with my bools and a bag. I wanted to developed my English because I know it's important for the futur of my life. So, in London , I had to find a flat and job, it was complicated but finally it's a good experience. This travel permitted to improve my expression oral, even if I'm always a shit lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
