Post by Eva Gousserey Mon Oct 12, 2020 4:29 pm

About cinema, i can say that i'm not a specialist so I will not give my opinion about a film because I will saying: I love this film because The script is good. No it's boring and useless. Soooo, I don't know what to say about this topic. Maybye I can tell what was the last film I saw? It was "Behind a smoke screen". It's a documentary about our utilisation of internet, the danger and how they control our lifes. It was very interresting and scary.

I will not be able to talk a lot about cinema because I never seen some movies who are absolute classic like Titanic or... I don't know what other movie is so well know and I know than this is a shame, I know. But I think there is one movie which marks me at least a little bit and this is American Sniper.

At the cinema I like action movies like pearl harbor, lords of the rings. But I also like sad movies like the Green Line, the strange story of younger button. I like series like prison break, the casa de Papel. I love cinema with puzzles. I love going to the cinema

Post by Dimitri Leroy Mon Oct 12, 2020 4:47 pm

Cinema is one of the greatest cultures in the world. Film culture is essential for personal enrichment. The cinema is also a huge source of money as film production and cinema tickets generate a lot of money. The film that grossed the most money in the world is the movie Avengers endgame which won 2.79 billion dollars.

When I'm told about cinema, the film "Untouchable" is the first film that comes to mind. Indeed this film is the first to have marked me a lot! The story is very touching and very engaging and accessible from a certain age. I love watching movies but I like series even more, like series I really like "La casa de Papel", "American Horror Story".
I really like plot films, police films and especially thrillers. I admit I don't have a lot of film culture, but I'm not closed to new discoveries!

Cinema is an area that I don't necessarily like, I rarely go to theaters to see films or I really like them, on the other hand I love watching any type of film. My favorite movie is Spider-man, he's the only hero I've been passionate about since I was little and I've seen all the movies on it. My room was even the color of his character when I was little.

For me, cinema is a means of entertainment. What is amazing is that little have gone to see a film alone, with family, with friends or even as a couple, there are a lot of themes, action movies, horror films, romantic films, fantasy movies etc etc... It is a world that is not the easiest to access, but there is a lot of profession related to cinema which makes many people live.

I don't watch too much film and that doesn't interest me that much, I'm more of a series. I watch films that are very well known because I am told to watch it and I miss something. Also sagas like Harry Poter and others are films that I really like. Besides, I don't watch any see very few movies that are not very well known for no bad reason.

Week 6 subject - cinema Empty cinema

Post by ingrid bruneteau Wed Oct 14, 2020 5:27 pm

Cinema is something that has evolved a lot over time, with new technology and lots of new methods and ways of doing things. The cinema is known to all, and many dream of entering and succeeding in it, however cinema remains coveted today, seats are expensive and difficult to obtain. However, some people succeed and nowadays being an actor is a real profession? but the cinema offers many diverse trades such as scriptwriter or thecnician, sound engineer ect... . Cinema therefore remains a cultural but also an economic fact

I really like going to the cinema, but it's never to see cultural films. I prefer action, fantasy, thriller or adventure films. These kinds of films are less instructive, but what I like about cinema is to make me travel, transport me to another world, forget reality. What I also like is discussing the film with people who have seen like me. But besides that I never watch series.

Cinema is an abbreviation of cinematic. This word means severals things, firstly it’s an art to design and create movies (that requests many patience), it’s call the seventh art. Secondly, it’s also a room where movies are showed on a big screen. And the last meaning is more familiar, it’s when we say “stop your cinema” this means stop your exaggerate conduct. At the begginig I want to talk about actor / actress or differents movies but I’m remember my bad culture level and I decided to evade this in present cinema because it’s always interesting to know bases.

Cinema is very interesting for different reasons: it allows you to think about something else, to dream but also to cultivate yourself. There are films for all tastes: action films, fiction films, films that tell true stories, documentaries and so on. This allows a great openness to all styles and different cultures. I also find that cinema can teach us things but in a more enjoyable way. The film that marked me the most is Avatar, there are incredible images and the film allows us to escape but also we can project ourselves into what might happen in the future. Important messages often pass through the cinema.

I like to going to the cinema because we can watch movies with your family or only or with the other people in the movie theater. The advantage is the large screen, the powerful and stereo sound, the darkness in the middle day and maybe the food like popcorn and candy. I think the cinema marketing had decreased the last year and especially with the containment who had closed all the culture space. I think everybody have to go to the cinema for us and for cinema marketing. I perfer to watch new movies rather than movies i haved watch otherwise i prefer Netflix. My favorite movies is Winning, science fiction and biopic movies.

It's un little stange beacause I don't "like" but I don't "don't like" cinema. I am just indifferent on it and not realy enjoy it.

I love movies. Not in cinema but at home. I prefer to be on my sofa lying as a seal, and eating all I can find in my fridge (and for sure it's cheaper). Regarding the kind of movies, I like too much, so let me talk about one of my favourite : Fantastic. The advantages of these movies is that they are at the opposite of reality, and I think it's a really good option to travel in the depths of mind. Moreover it allows to escape from this society that sucks !

Today the cinema has a very important place in the world, it represents a profession, an art, it is the seventh art. In addition ceremonies are awarded Oscars which represent trophies for actors, directors etc ...
I think people need this kind of entertainment to be able to get away from it all or to experience feelings that they don't really know like fear for horror movies or thrillers. More and more budget is provided for films to be able to provide access to different forms of staging or to be able to provide a framing and therefore a particular atmosphere for the film. There are a lot of ways to frame scenes in a film, there is the first person view where the actors or the cameraman always have a camera on the shoulder to cause an effect of stress, surprise or to feel in the character as in the long series of REC films which are all shot in the first person. There are also other views such as high angle view, low angle view to give a style to the film or to a particular scene.

I don't like the cinema because I don't go there often. Indeed the last time I went to the cinema was a very long time ago. My favorite movie I saw in theaters is Creed 2 and it's also the last one I saw so it was about 2 years ago. I never liked the cinema too much because I don't like being in a room to see a movie with other people. In addition I find that the prices of the cinema are very expensive.

To be honest i'm not a big fan of cinema i prefer series over movies. So i don't go a lot to cinema but when i hear this word, "cinema" the first thing that cames to my mind is the movie "300" which tells the story of the the Battle of Thermopylae of 480 BC, between an alliance of Greek's city-states with the king Leonidas and the persian army with the king Xerxès. During the battle all the armies of the Greek's alliance died and only the Spartan army of 300 men survived in the Greek's alliance and they will do everything to win this battle.

When I ear cinema I think to the place but also to the art. About the place, I like it, (especially on the evening), because I know that I will have a good moment : the screen is big, I am with friends or family, and of course I choose a film that I think I will like. (And there is Pop Corn). The last film I saw was so beautiful, it was "été 85". About cinema art, I think it's amazing because the work done is incredible and big, the evolution of this art too. It needs a real organisation, time, money, people... I would love to intrude me in a filming.

I’m not a film expert but I really like to watch movies. To watch a movie I don’t often go to the cinema, I prefer to watch it at home. Like I can make noise, pause and lie down. The only time I go to a cinema is when I go to see a movie with my friends. The sound is better and the screen is bigger. My favorite actor is Vin Diesel because I love Fast and furious.

Cinema is very important to be able to enrich oneself with culture and knowledge. Indeed, there are all kinds of films for any audience and of interest to anyone. The film that made the most impression on me remains "Seven" with the story of the seven deadly sins because the plot is great and the ending is extraordinary and remains for me the best possible ending to a film.

cinema is part of French culture as we can see with the festival of Cannes.
There are films of all genres but my favorite is the fantasy style like with The Lord of the Rings. I hate romantic and annoying films but I like intrigues a lot if I had to recommend a little-known film it would be "10,000"
