Semester 2 Week 3 discussion - Extreme Sports

The Extreme sport is a popular term for a particularly dangerous sport that can result in serious injury or death if it is not properly exercised. These sports can be practiced on the sea, in the sky or on land.Extreme athletes have no limits. Their last madness, the Rooftopping, consists in walking on the highest structures of the world (cranes, buildings, monuments...) in order to bring back spectacular images that will give chills to all those who are afraid of emptiness. The most reckless don’t hesitate to increase the risks by suspending themselves in a vacuum. One of the emblematic figures of this sport is a Ukrainian stunt named Mustang Wanted. Be careful, however, as the Parkour was created, this practice is not regulated and therefore prohibited at the moment.

I will speak about extrem sport, especially about the big surf. A big wave need to do 6 meters minimum. In competition of big wave surfing, there is no figure ( except one crazy surfer who called kai lenny ), only tube riding or the risk taking can give to you a good result by the judge in competition. The most famous spot are Nazare in Portugal ( the bigest wave mesured 30-35 meters in this spot ), Jaw in Hawaii or Maverick in California. The bigest wave ever rode was by Benjamin Sanchis at Nazare and measured 32 meters, a french big wave surfer.

Extreme sport it's sport dangerous that requires courage because Extreme sports are often sports of speed, height with a lot of adrenaline. Personaly I'd love to do a parachute jump
