House of Cards - TV Series

S1E1

Today, I watched the series « House of Cards ». It’s a serie who speak about politics in USA.
In the first episode, a new president, Garrett Walker was elected with the help of Franck Underwood. Franck was a member of the US Democratic Party and has the promise of the new president who will become the new secretary of state.
Frank learns by Linda Vasquez, Chief of Staff of the future president, the coveted post of Secretary of State will not be given to it but will be awarded to Senator Michael Kern

Indeed, the future president wants Frank remains in the House of Representatives to work with Senator Donald Blythe on a bill reforming the education system.
Franck, furious, made a pact with his wife, an environmental activist, to destroy President Walker. Franck is looking for people to undermine the president, including a journalist Zoe Barnes, whom he used to start his career by giving him confidential information about the bill.


Two days after his election, the president is already reflected under fire from critics ...

S1E2

In this episode, Frank become the new Project Director for education’s bill because D. Blythe resign. Franck hiring a team of young trainee to write a new bill in record time. Frank grass in the media, thanks to Zoe, Michael Kern had once written a pro-Palestinian and anti-Israeli editorial in an academic journal. Kern is in difficulty during a TV Show. Frank wanted discredit, soil, the futur secretary of state.

Frank asks Peter Russo to find information for shows that Kern had he even wrote the article. Kern is definitely ruled out of his job.
Frank puts a rumor that Catherine would succeed During M.Kern.

At the end of the episode, we see the young journalist Zoe recovers scandals Frank, passed for the first time on TV…

S1E3

In this Episod, Frank must make haste in his hometown because a daughter died in a car accident while writing a text that spoke about a water tower which have a form of peach and that Frank refused to demolish.

His political rival encourages parents of the victim to attack Frank in justice. Frank must begin difficult negotiations and he happen to settle the deceased teenager's problem.
Zoe, the journalist, private 1 month TV interview by his boss, because of remarks in CNN that have displeased.

Claire, wife of Frank, is lonely without her man...

S1E4

In this Episod, the President of the House of Representatives, Bob Birch, refused to support Frank's bill.
For Zoe, his editor in chief is exasperated by the spirit of Zoe's independence, but the newspaper CEO supports the young woman.
It is proposed for Zoe to have the post of correspondent to the White House. Finally she f refuse to always be available for Franck. Zoe is dismissed.
Peter Russo, the congressman, plunge back into the drug and the alcohol… while he kept his children for the weekend..
Frank earns his political struggle against Bob Birch.
In the end of the episod,Franck goes to Zoe’s house and spends the night with her.;

S1E5

In this Episod, Frank returns from his night with Zoe and Claire tacitly accepts this connection as it serves their interests. Claire prepare a charity gala reception to collect some funds for the association.
But at this gala, opponents of the law on education manifesto in front of the gala. Claire and Frank gives food to the protesters who show ridicules of Marty Spinella who started this movement.
Peter Russo dumped by his girlfriend plunges into depression and drugs. He goes to Franck regretting having remove a shipyard which eliminate 12,000 jobs.
He goes to Franck make his mea culpa but Franck asks him take responsibility for your deed's behaviour..

S1E6

In this episod, we see that the teacher are in strike since some months. Franck is under pressure but he hold in front of the president who wants him to withdraw the bill.
Peter Russo, him, inform Franck that he is standing to be elected governor of Pennsylvania. He stopped his consumption of drugs and alcohol.
During this time, Franck Underwood continues his sexual connection with the reporter Zoe Barnes. Franck win his fight against the trade union leader Martin Spinella, after a castastrophic debate on CNN. Franck organize a stratagem in provoking the angry of Spinella who he struks him.
Franck use the black-mail : either the demonstration is abandoned, either the matter becomes public…

S1E7

In this episod, A public ceremony is organisez on the occasion of President Walker's signing of the Education Act. Frank came out publicly a great winner of the confrontation with the unions and of that, recent and secret, with the president

Frank, Clair, and a whole team, prepares the campaign of Peter Russo by bringing back his ex girl friend. Franck wants to play on the fact that Peter is a former alcoholic and addicted and who got by fine today.
