Re: Films/Movies - what have you watched recently?
Durring the hollidays i watched a movie, that i do not recommend. Like absolutely not ! It's "Jupiter Ascending"
The univers in which the story is placed is crap, the scenario is not interested, the acting is even worse. But there's Mila Kunis in the movie ha ah.
No seriously, don't waste any time watching this movie

Last movie I saw in cinema was Rogue one, yes my boyfriend succeed in the choice of the movie, but I liked it so it was a good choice!
Other movie that I saw was Trolls!!!!! (with Justin Timberlake!!!!!) It’s so fun and crazy, putting the childish cute world (with mainly rainbows, glitter and happiness) into a funny way even for adults! I didn’t expect it to be like that but it was a cool surprise. Can't stop the feeling!!!!!

The last film I saw was-"tomorrow it starts-" with Omar Sy (It's a french movie). To sum up it is the story of Samuel who lives life without ties or responsibilities, the sea under the Sun of the South of the France. Until one of his former conquests leave him on the arm a baby of a few months, Gloria: his daughter! Unable to take care of a baby and decided to make the child to his mother, Samuel rushes to London to try and find her, without success. 8 years later, while Samuel and Gloria have made their lives in London and have become inseparable, Gloria's mother returned her daughter back. This film is beautiful, very touching. I recommend it to everyone. PS: don't forget the tissues if you go see this movie.

The last movie I watched, was two days ago : First Contact the link of the trailer
It was really good!! The actors are good and the story is simple but effective.
And I watched during vacations, Demain tout Commence, and it was also really great! Go to the theater people!

Re: Films/Movies - what have you watched recently?
This last few weeks, I watched a lot of movies (Allied, Collateral Beauty, Arrival, Demain tout commence). These are all good movies with a great casting, beautiful images and a well writting script. But today I want to talk about Arrival. This is the story of a world invaded by twelve alien spaceships in different parts of the globe. To decrypts and understand the aliens language, the U.S. government hired a linguist to establish a first contact with this unknown civilization. During all the movie they try to discovers their intentions. What is their purpose on Earth?
This film stands out because he wondered about the future of humanity, and about the relation between humans. All the story is about communication and exchange between the different countries and governments. Then it’s a pacific story that stand out from other aliens movies. I recommend it !

Re: Films/Movies - what have you watched recently?
Last week , i watched collateral beauty - a movie of Will Smith. I shared with you all the trailer and a summary of the story. Unfortunately it was in French, I did not mean anything but i like to watch the original version of movies and yes if it is in Spanish i will watch it in Spanish. I totally agree that sometimes we need subtitles but i am pissed when there is a gap between lips and sound. Anyway, I really liked the movie, the scriptwas different and the story was twisted in a very interesting and original way. But,I was a bit disappointed because i expected that the 'COME BACK' of will smith will be more different since it is been a while since his last movie came out in theaters. My next movies on list would be Demain tout commence -Omar SY and Passengers -Jennifer Lawrence.

I agree with you Habiba, I wished the movie was in English! Because they don't translate everything the same way and when they talk you can see they are not talking french... it's disturbing. But in Angoulême they don't put the movie in original version.. We need to move out! ahahah.

If you liked this movie, you'll probably like Collateral Beauty with Will Smith. It's a more dramatic movie but it's about the same subject of Demain tout commence. It's well filmed and the casting is perfect (Will Smith, Keira Knightley, Edward Norton, Michael Peña...), each actor has a role suits him. Love, death and time are represented by persons so there is a lot of metaphors which have several meanings. I recommend!

I thought that the story is not as simple as that, it'll be good to watch the movie a second time to understand all the subtleties that you don't understand the first time

I agree. I couldn't even last 30 minutes the acting was so bad. And it had so much hype!

I enjoyed it and somehow got the film through a site that rhymes with gorlock (first letter T). but I would never condone illegal downloading.

She could watch it through Kodi. I don't think that has been deemed illegal yet has it?, although it's very very very similar to streaming.

Re: Films/Movies - what have you watched recently?
Last night , i watched " The Football Factory" (2004) directed by Nick Love and produced by Rockstar Games (creators of Grand Theft Auto).
This movie talks about hooliganism in Football in particular about the rivality against Chelsea and Millwall.
The story is really simple : Chelsea chavs decided to hit violently Millwall chavs coz both are fu**** stupid.
As you know, i'm a football fan and i love Manchester United but i hate hooligans even if i can i understand the passion of your team and that you can be angry when your favorite team loses a match but hit a rival supporter is never the right answer, it's stupid ! Violence isn't an answer in general.
One of my friend is fan of Liverpool FC , i love to mock him about results of his favourite team on Facebook but i never have the intention to kick him because he is a supporter of my rival team.
I recommand this film for Danny Dyer, he's a great English Actor and the voice of Kent Paul if you have already played Grand Theft Auto Vice City & San Andreas.

Last week-end i watched a movie based on a true story.Based on the 1987 Japanese film Hachiko Monogatari, "Hachi" is a Dog's Tale. Richard Gere as a college professor who finds an abandoned dog and takes the poor lost animal in. The film follows the two as the man and animal form a strong and unexplainable bond.
