I stopped watching that after about 45 minutes still waiting for something to happen. I looked up the story it was based on - so sad - but I'm glad I stopped watching.

I really dislike Richard Gere movies too.

Come ON , Richard Gere is a very talented actor. You got that right , it is a very sad story but it is a true one so it is interesting.

I saw it a while ago but I loved it.

Yesterday I went to see Bridget Jones... (haha not a movie for you John ! )
I found it really funny and fresh which could not have been expected of another movie about her.

In my opinion this is an epic movie BUT I think that the character of Aurora is a big NO NO. The chick has issues... disturbing issues. As if she is prepared to join her spirit mom Maleficent against daddy. ughh

Finally got to watch "Fantastic Beasts" today. I was looking forward to it but found it so disappointing. The storyline was paper thin at best and clearly secondary to a few special effects. 45 minutes in and the story was nowhere and I was nearly asleep.

Some pretty "beasts", some good actors, lots of special effects but a weak storyline which makes a good movie or breaks it.

I hope Star Wars Rogue one is better when I eventually get around to seeing that.

This weekend I saw "agents presque secrets" with Dwayne Johnson and Kevin hart. I can advise you the movie is really funny. But what makes the film really nice to see is the pair that it forms to two. On one side you have dwayne johnson and his strong build and on the other side Kevin hart and his small size. Really if you want to have a good time in front of a movie right now, I would definitely recommend this one.

Manon working her English Very Happy

If you really want a good time in front of a movie then Thursday morning in English class is the place to be. Razz

I watched "the accountant" with Ben Affleck this weekend. It was predictable but easy to watch.

Tried to watch a few films this weekend but most of them were too boring and I gave up quite quickly:

Blood, sand and gold.
Brimstone
Hail Caesar.

The only film that I managed to watch was

The secret life of Pets.

It was okay I guess.

It's a good one about the life of the singer Grand Corps Malade after his accident.

Life is a holiday isn't it?

I've got 2 two day intensive courses for PhD students in May and then I've got an intensive course for the Khazak's in July - not sure on the hours yet.
